AXL ROSE: Unofficial Book Pushed Back To February

According to Amazon.com, the new unofficial book about GUNS N' ROSES' reclusive frontman Axl Rose, entitled "Axl Life & Times of Mysterious Mr. Rose", has had its release date pushed back to February 2006 from the previously announced October 2005. Everything that involves Axl Rose gets pushed back.
I wonder if this book is going to be like "Chinese Democracy"??
When February comes it will be pushed back to April then pushed to July then pushed to October then, etc, etc......
It's AMAZING how someone could be the Biggest Rockstar in the world and then just disappear for over a Decade and very few people know what happened or what is happening.
Axl Rose is like the "Howard Hughes" of the Rock world.

No mystery here. He's a greedy, self-centered, ego-maniacal, talentless, blowhard, moronic, foul-smelling, idiotic, alienating, dickish little man whose pissed away any kind of career, respect or admiration he's acquired from under the trailer trash rock in which he's crawled under.
Other than that, he's a waste of air.
Everyone knows Wes Arkeen was the lyrical genius behind Appetite and Slash and Izzy wrote the music. No mystery there either.

personally i've always lumped GNR in with Nirvana, Linkin Park, Green Day, Motley Crue as the top bands on my list of worst/most overrated fucking bands on earth.
but hey that's just me. i mean everyone knows that one band in particular out-does ALL the bands i just mentioned and the name of that band is---

is a total fucktard. i hate to say it, because i love the REAL gnr, and his voice, and his lyrics (he did write a good % of them, if you bother to READ the liner notes). gnr was one of the most influential bands, to me, in getting me to the stuff i listen to now.

...The best part of the story has yet to happen. There are going to be movies made about the life 'n times of W. Axl Rose. He is as Rock N Roll as it will ever get and he's survived to tell the story. Not to mention he's a wealthy dude that didnt plunder his gold. He's all businessman these days with an eye on the future, his future.
Axl has stayed out of the lime light because he's busy living life and supposedly working out the finishing touches on chinese democracy...i guess we'll have to wait and see about that.
If anyone bothered to notice, Axl does surface from time to time. He still enjoys the lime light, he'd just rather not bathe in it anymore. He probably gets a kick out of watching others getting sucked into the vortex of fame and celebrity.
Remembert this...he was just a small town white boy from indiana that pretty much kicked the shit out of rock n roll the world over. And I dont think he's done yet.
Note to Axl:
Give these bastards another leak. It keeps them on the edge of thier seats.
They will love it for six months. That is until thier starving appetite for Axl begins to creep in again. And then they will of course begin to doubt and criticise the greatest living rock n roll icon in the universe, again...(-?-)...kill your idols.
Oh and for the record, the new dudes in the band are pretty fucking awesome if i do say so myself. But then again, I'm a bit biased.
Word to the Naysayers: When your favorite band eclipses everthing Axl/GnR has and becomes as big as The Stones or Zeppelin, then and only then will you have room to talk smack.
So until then...shut the fuck up... ;)

That's exactly what I thought until I read Richard Cole's "Led Zepplin: Uncensored". Even if you don't like the band and their music you should give it a try. Pure Rock'n Roll decadence!

That's a pretty tall order. Why not throw in the Beatles too? I've always liked GNR, but putting them up with the likes of the Stones, who are still going at it? Come on. It takes time to achieve that status and Axl's has pissed away his prime. GNR--the band that could have been...
As it is, Axl's legacy will probably end up as a "wtf happened to this guy" novelty, a la Michael Jackson--DEFINITELY not Jagger or Plant.
There's only one way to prove me wrong...
