LACUNA COIL Frontwoman Lands Advice Column In REVOLVER Magazine

LACUNA COIL frontwoman Cristina Scabbia will be joining the Revolver magazine staff this fall with her own monthly advice column. Fans are encouraged to send their questions to the following e-mail address: askcristina@revolvermag.com.
LACUNA COIL are continuing to work on the follow-up to 2002's "Comalies", which recently surpassed the 200,000 U.S. SoundScan plateau. The new effort is being produced once again by Waldemar Sorychta (SENTENCED, MOONSPELL) and is tentatively set for an early 2006 release.

Cristina scabbia is hot...this is true. However, it's also true that she has a great makeup artist for photo shoots and press. Also, she VERY small...maybe 5'2" and is almost 30, if not already. She has never acted like a bitch or anything to fans or anyone else as far as I know. I used to go to Milan a lot (that's where they're from) and we'd go to Transylvania Live which is a gothic/horror/metal club all over Italy. The one in Milan is pretty popular and I used to drink with the band all the fucking time. It got so common that I'd see them and just nod to them or say "ciao" and then go about my business. They're just normal people here in Italy, guys. They totally don't have this rock star attitude. Shit, Cristina used to work in this place called Rainbow until about two years ago, which is a pretty good rock/metal pub. You would be seeing Nevermore or Arch Enemy or someone and see Cristina behind the counter and order a beer from her. It's no big deal. Everyone knows she's hot, but there are SO MANY beautiful women here in Italy that it kind of distorts your opinion. My friends come from the states here and the entire time their mouths are collecting dirt from the floor, whereas I don't even notice it anymore. Instead of ogling like I used to when I first arrived here from the US, I just think, "Wow, she's a pretty girl" and not, "HOLY SHIT, OMFG!!! I JUST CAME IN MY PANTS!!!!!" It's the same with Cristina. You know she's really pretty, but you don't mind about it when you meet her. She's very down to earth and all she wants to do is hang out and have a good time without being hassled about stupid band questions that they've answered a million fucking times in interviews and meet and greets.
She's just another pretty Italian girl. If you guys think she's a goddess, don't ever come to Italy because you'll surely keel over and die when you see the rest of the women here.

I don't think it's just looks with her...I think it's a lot to do with the fact that she's a metalhead. There are very few real metalhead females in our circle, and I was lucky enough to marry one. My wife loves black, death, thrash, doom, and just about everything else. She plays guitar, violin, piano, etc., classical and metal. I'm a lucky guy!
