OZZFEST 2005: 'Ozzfest Xth Anniversary' DVD/CD Set To Surface In November

Clear Channel Entertainment has set a November 22 North American release date for the "Ozzfest Xth Anniversary" DVD/CD set. The two-disc set is expected to include highlights from this year's festival, which was headlined by co-headlined by BLACK SABBATH and IRON MAIDEN, with additional appearances by MUDVAYNE, SHADOWS FALL, IN FLAMES and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, among others. No further information is available at this time.

Anyway why boycott a great concert like this ? Black Sabbath. Iron Maiden, Rob Zombie, Black Label Society etc... all kicked ass.

really, everyone that is complaining about Ozzfest and the shit bands they get every year, first stop going to it.....then pay to see a real metal festival with real bands that actually sing there songs instead of yelling or rapping every verse.
I have two words for you all......ProgPower fest.
Heres this years lineup: Stratovarius, Pink Cream 69, Symphorce, Orphanland, Angra, Conception, Circus Maximus.
One year Angra, Blind Guardian, Edguy and Gamma Ray all played. Need I say more?
Maybe if this festival eventually got a sizeable audience with a few larger named bands it could become a touring festival to some extent. would be well worth it.

I only cared going to Pit, 2-3 times I did; wasn't planning to get this anyway. Boy, the s2nd stage bands really sucked this year! Clear Channel also screwed with The Howard Stern Show as well! Looking forward to getting Sirius next year... only because of STERN, King of All Media!

This years ozzfest, being the 10th anniversary and all, was really embarassing. The Sabbath cancelations, the majority of the bands sucking, ridiculously short set-times for every band involved. Buy a Wacken DVD or something instead of this trite commercial crap. Sabbath is and always will be legendary and all that, but that ship has sailed and it's time to move on and remember the glory days.....when they were all fucking up on the H and booze.

this year's lineup was fairly decent. last year's was better. but fuck the Osbournes. and fuck Ozzfest if there even is one after this year. will so not be worth it. and for the record, Sounds of the Underground blew Ozzfest out of the water this summer.

Yea you can say that all of the above is shitty powermetal...
Sharon may be a pussy but there where great bands at the Ozzfest. Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Mastodon, Black Label Society, The Haunted, In Flames, Arch Enemy, Black Dahlia Murder and Soilwork are all great. And not some powershittymetal.

Ive been waiting for an ozzfest dvd for a long time. hopefully its a live dvd. if its a backstage stupid thing then i dont want it. why would iw ant to see zakk getting drunk and ozzy vomiting backstage? but i love ozzfest all except for the maiden thing.

I would have loved to have been at Ozzfest. say what you will but there were some great bands on the lineup. What happened to Maiden sucked but I will still be getting this. This is the closest thing I will ever get to being there so I will buy it. Fuck those who think otherwise. Ozzy may be on a downward spiral but I will still support him.
BTW, what the hell is wrong with the treehouseofdeath.com? Great fucking place with some pretty cool dudes chatting about all things metal, nothing wrong there.
