PARADISE LOST: New Album Gets U.K. Release Date - Sep. 13, 2005
Century Media Records has set an October 17 U.K. release date for the latest album from PARADISE LOST, entitled simply "Paradise Lost". As previously reported, the album's U.K. release was delayed by a few weeks due to the fact that Century Media recently changed their distribution to EMI.

"Paradise Lost" was recorded primarily at Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire, England under the guidance of producer Rhys Fulber (FEAR FACTORY, FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY). The follow-up to 2002's "Symbol of Life" is the group's first CD to feature drummer Jeff Singer (ex-BLAZE).

PARADISE LOST RULE

The latest album is good, but not their best. The Limited Edition DVD Single of Forever After has some cool bonus tracks, definitely worth buying as well.

This was supposed to be out in January. I bought an import version for $21 several montha ago. I can't believe they can't get an album released in their own damn country.

Bring back the doom and the growls, then we can talk about it.

I say though that the guitars need to be less 'fat' so that Greg can get back to doing leads during the verses. The extra track "Sanctamonious You" had the right idea in part.
