MÖTLEY CRÜE Singer VINCE NEIL Back On Stage After Atlanta Injury

The Associated Press is reporting that MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman Vince Neil has returned to the stage after injuring himself Friday night (Sept. 16) at an Atlanta concert.
Band spokeswoman Hannah Kampf said Neil performed with no problems Sunday night in Memphis, Tenn. after tearing a calf muscle about five songs into a show at Atlanta's Philips Arena.
Atlanta police initially reported Neil fell off of the stage and broke his leg. But on the band's web site, Neil says he "felt something snap" in his calf muscle while on stage. He was treated and released from an Atlanta hospital on Saturday.
Band members said they intend to return to Atlanta for a makeup show. Kampf said no date for the makeup show has been set.

He came out in a wheelchair at first, then he got around with a cane the rest of the night. They sounded really good, and it was a good all around show.
Only thing is I see him f'ing up sometimes in the near future. He had to have been taking pain meds, and he was drinking pretty heavily. It may come back and bite him in the ass
One thing of note, and its very strange. Mick was way more mobile than Vince considering his circumstances. I expected Nikki to be the only one up front moving around.

New Metallica leaked at Motley concert last nite!!!!!

Before Motley went on, it was the usual Sabbath, AC/DC, etc.....and then new Metallica. :|
The sound guy came on afterwards and said "You dig that new shit eh?"
Good news
-Lars lost his trash cans and various pots. Drums sound awesome again.
-Not another St. Anger, more like an extended version of Load (judging by the one song they played)
-James' voice, while nowhere near as powerful as AJFA, is better than St. Anger. A little weaker than Black Album.
Bad News
-No solo. There was a lot of lead playing, a la Turn the Page.
-After the second verse, Kirk breaks out the wah again, and rarely shuts it off when playing his lead licks.
Overall, a step in the right direction. Bass and drums sound very tight.

Comparing Halford and Neil is unforgivable. You have no taste and is like comparing The Cure to The Crue. First off, Halford is the foremost talented lead singer metal has ever been blessed with. Neil is a fat poser. Halford sings through training and actual talent. Neil sings through his nose.
Recommendationy, buy a fucking dictionary. The STENCH of your bad english is outweighs any credibility your shooting for.
True, I liked the Crue but after Shout at the Devil they started wearing pink, had way too many ballads and pretty much wussed out. Girls (3x) was a nice try back to what they should have been but they too lost credibility.

nikki never took lessons, stole his first bass, all are mediocre and cheap.
I like Mick, but he's guilty for association, he seems nice, but to hang around those fuckbags, he's guilty.
They use cheap publicity and notoriety for exposure, including killing other people in cars or swimming pools, beating wives, leaving uncared for illigetimate children, punching soundmen, it goes on and on every day of their lives.

vince is busting his ass out there. i think they will do 150 shows this year and another 100 next year. Sure its hardly a punk rock touring schedule but it sure beats having to see the vince neil band in a go go bar in new jersey.

This is metal. Singer is hurt and could easily back off the tour, but still plays...Motley Crue is real metal with real fans. Most people on here that hate them can't appreciate their music. What is their music? Well, for one thing...it is having sex with girls! Another thing...partying! Another theme...drugs! Yeah, sex, partying, drugs, good time, great fans. How is this not cool?
