THE DARKNESS: New Album Track Listing Revealed

British rock act THE DARKNESS have finalized the track listing for their much-anticipated second album, "One Way Ticket to Hell... And Back", due on November 28 in the United Kingdom via Must Destroy/Atlantic and a day later in North America. First single "One Way Ticket" will be released commercially November 14 in the United Kingdom.

The album is the follow-up to THE DARKNESS' 2003 debut, "Permission to Land", (Must Destroy/Atlantic), which has sold more than 680,000 units in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
"One Way Ticket to Hell... And Back" will be THE DARKNESS' first release with new bassist Richie Edwards (ex-ONION TRUMP), who replaced Frankie Poullain in June. For the past two years, Edwards has toured extensively with the band as their guitar technician.
THE DARKNESS frontman Justin Hawkins' solo project BRITISH WHALE recently entered the U.K. single chart at No. 6 with its cover of the 1974 hit "This Town Ain't Big Enough for the Both of Us" by SPARKS.

I might be wrong, but refresh my memory here...AC/DC made Highway to Hell which is a rock classic...nothing funny about the title...the Darkness is making "One Way Ticket to Hell...And Back"...now just stop and think about it...take your time...would it not be a one way ticket then...I mean they are coming back according to the title...just a little bit of humor for you...I don't think this band is trying to be as serious as AC/DC...but they are trying to bring back rock so just enjoy

One of the worst bands to come out in the last 10 years.
I saw the video,and like Kid Rock,thought it was a joke,or takeoff kind of thing. But to my shock,it was real. Almost as bad as the Jewish Rasta rapper.

Their Music is what Rock Music is SUPPOSED to be about....FUN and ENTERTAINMENT!!!! If you dont like it, dont listen to it....its all pretty simple really.....as for them being the Worst band to come out .....I think there are PLENTY of Pop / Rock bands around that are a shitload worse than The Darkness...I saw one on TV last night...The Black Eyed Peas.....fuck me....what a poor excuse for Singers those fuckin HACKSare....a joke.....im sure there are worse than them too.

The Darkness are cool and theyre a nice change from hearing songs about a thunderbeast giving abortions with a coat hanger. And so what if they are Queen (and Spinaltap) clones, at least they're ripping off a band that rocked. Get Your Hands Off My Woman has some sweet licks, although We Are the Douchebags and And Justice For Queers are probably their best songs.
