SUICIDAL TENDENCIES To Play Special L.A. Show With THE GERMS, DEAD KENNEDYS

SUICIDAL TENDENCIES will be teaming up with THE GERMS, DEAD KENNEDYS, MARKY RAMONE and FLIPPER for a special punk-rock extravaganza at the Grand Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 29. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, September 24. According to a posting on SUICIDAL TENDENCIES' web site, "The show is general admission, but there are two types of tickets: One allows you on the floor, the other only in the seats. If you don't wanna be in the middle of the action, coming with young kids, recovering from an injury, etc, don't get floor tickets.
"We're working out getting tickets to sell at ST Tattoo, however we will only have a limited number. We're trying to get as many as possible, but once they are gone, they are gone. We can not reserve tickets for you. If you are coming from out of town, it would probably be best to buy your tickets thru Ticketmaster.
"As mentioned before, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES will be filming their set. See you there, representing SUICIDAL STyle.
"This is sure to be a classic SUICIDAL TENDENCIES show."

This show is going to be totally off da hook. This is the kind of line-up only punkers from the '80s could possibly dream of.
Suicidal in LA = Insanity. No other band can equal what it's like to see Suicidal in LA.
This Old Fuck is going to try and make it. No floor for me. I like my face and standing upright. Not ready for a wheelchair or any more broken ribs.

There is going to be a riot on the floor of that venue. I wouldnt be surprised if this show makes headlines of local papers and newstations. Their fans are die hard and fucking nuts. I saw infectious grooves once in denver...and THAT was nuts, I couldnt imagine seeing ST live in LA.

How are the Germs playing? Darby is dead and Pat and Lorna have always been against doing a reunion. They won't even talk about the Germs. In fact, I heard that no one knows where Lorna is. Where are the details?

I'm with you. Who cares about what line-ups the other bands are putting up there. I've seen all of these bands in their prime.
But nothing compares to the near death experience of seeing or participating in a Suidical show.

I know, the tickets go on sale Saturday. But on ticketmaster, it'll usually at least list the event, price, time etc. before they go on sale. Ah, whatever, i'll just go to Tower on Saturday.

This show would have been badass in 1983. To bad all those bands are irrelevant. Old Dk and Suicidal are more hardcore than any of those pussy metalcore bands. I miss old punk back when it was real. Those days are long gone. BLACK FLAG FUCKERS!!!!

I saw them twice in san diego a few years back..that's not that far from l.a. ; the crowd wasn't insane at all. The first show was pretty good but the second time....all the new songs they did sounded hella poppy and they even did a cover of what a girl wants.......what is there one original member of suicidal left? That show is more a joke than anything basically because of what everyone else already said.
