Former STATIC-X Guitarist Pleads Guilty To Sex With Minor

RollingStone.com is reporting that former STATIC-X and DOPE guitarist Tripp Eisen has pled guilty to having oral sex with a minor and will serve one year in California State prison on that charge. On June 24 Eisen accepted a plea bargain in California for "having oral sex with a person younger than fourteen years old and more than ten years younger than him," stemming from a February arrest, according to Orange County Superior Court manager Gai Spickard. A date for his incarceration has yet to be set. At the time of his arrest, the guitarist posted $100,000 bail and fled the state — only to be discovered when arrested for another sex-related offense, in New Jersey, just two weeks later. On October 7, Eisen, born Tod Rex Salvador, will face another series of sex-related charges when arraigned before a trial judge in New Jersey. EisenWinnie Comfort. A local woman claimed that her fourteen-year-old daughter had sex with Eisen, who was posing as his own impersonator, leading to the guitarist's indictment by a grand jury in June on charges of kidnapping, sexual assault, enticing a minor and endangering the welfare of a child.

I think the actual point that "everyone does this" is just how much it happens in high school and stuff.
But that's totally different. I mean, yeah, technically it's still sex with a minor if you're 18 and she's 17 (in most states anyway), but logically it's a little more acceptable than, say, if you're mid 20s or older and the girl is 14.
I guess we'll find out just how "badass" or "hardcore" he is when he's in prison.

I've hung out with Tripp. Nice guy, not an ego centric rock star fuck, BUT dude, if your in your twenty + YOU CANNOT BE A PREDITOR AND BANGING GIRLS YOUNGER THAN 18.
However, where I live (NEVADA) the law is 15 1/2 for girls and 17 1/2 for guys regarding carnal knowledge. Prostitution is legal, gambling is legal and POT IS A FELONY!!!! (second offence of a SMALL amount of weed and your looking at 1-5 years in prison!!!!That's pretty wierd isn't it?

but i disagree with alot of jail sentences, most "justice" is in reality just the human need for vengeance taking over.
we give jailtime for things jailtime will do nothing to cure, lock up this guy for a year? making him 1000 times more horny for some 14 year old action, then hes let loose.....
