Former KORN Guitarist Collaborating With A PERFECT CIRCLE Drummer

Former KORN guitarist Brian "Head" Welch has posted the following message on his web site, HeadtoChrist.com:
"I'm in the recording studio in Phoenix. I hooked up with a drummer named Josh Freese [A PERFECT CIRCLE] [in mid-September]. He recorded 23 songs for me while he was here. He's by far the best drummer I've ever witnessed in a recording studio. The guy can play anything. While he was recording, I was still writing about a song a day. So now he has to come back and record another 10 or 20.
"I can't stop writing. I've never written so much music in my life! I am completely speechless when I listen back to these songs. It's so clear that I am only a vessel. Nine months ago, I could barely piece one song together.
"I'm going in to record my guitars tomorrow. It should be early 2006 when [my solo album] comes out. Sorry I can't answer all your questions right now. Just trust that I will deliver the most intense music you've ever heard in your life."

I'm starting to smell some pre-album hype from Korn. Thinkin' maybe Head didn't leave the band after all, but just took a break to do this solo thing. And now with Korn's backwards message to Head in Twiztid Transistor, one has to begin to wonder if they Korn + Head) are trying to create a buzz on their new album coming out. Wouldn't be a bit surprised to see that Head never left the band to begin with.....

You know. Brian, I don't understand your rationalization for leaving Korn. You spout off about how you're just a "vessal"? What the fuck is that suppose to mean anyway. The bottom line is that you were fucked up and strung out which happens to a lot of musicians. It's called Re-hab dude. Don't sit there and say you are working on music from Jesus just so you can help people and help improve there lives. Do you have any idea how many people you already were helping in Korn? That band made a huge impact on many peoples lives, mainly abused kids and manic depression kids, including myself. You were already helping people, and you will never be able to live up to the caliber of your former band. That was just selfish on your part. You are an excellent musician and you were already in a better postion with Korn to be a "vessal" as you say, but you could've done that through metaphor by just molding yourself like Jesus, in helping lost kids. You're work was already at it's peak with that band. By being preachy instead of Peachy you will end up driving away that fan bas, rather then draw them in and help them. Rehab dude, rehab.

So what if he found God. Kull found meshuggah and he's happy. Let people be what they want to be, you can't mold people to be around anyone's personal preference of how the world is in their eyes. If there is one thing for people to witness on this board is the evil side of human nature. Nobody is perfect and everyone on this fucked up planet is a fuck up, enjoy life while you can. Hopefully his solo album will be of something with substance.

ok.ok.ok......this dude maybe a couple sandwiches short of a picnic....but at least he had enoughsense to get out of korn....this band is so done....a freind of mine in the music business said this record isn't even projected to go platnium.....time to pack it up guys and call it a day..................

But the problem is, the Crusades had no Biblical reasoning in it. Nor did the Spanish follow the Bible when they came to the America's and enslaved the Native americans.
The Bible does say to "go make diciples of all the nations", meaning to spread the word. But nowhere does it say to kill or enslave people if they don't. And I think it even says somewhere to "be respectful when sharing the word" or like "Spread it with kindness." I'm not sure if it directly says that, but no where does it say directly or indirectly to do the kinds of things the Crusadors and the Conquistadors did.

Originally, it wasn't in the school, having been introduced in the 50s or a bit earlier, so I don't know why ppl make a fuss out of it. Me personally, if I want to pray, I'm going to, regardless of where it may be. Both Mathias and WellHung make good points, but we can't condemn a whole category based on the actions of a few. Hypocrisisy should be considered a disease cuz most of the people have it at one time or another. As far as the crusade rants goes("in the name of"), what of the people, who in telling stories, follow that with a "I swear to God". Even when they are lying.

Just be true to yourselves. There are all forms of music from everyone of diverse beliefs systems. Don't limit yourselves just because they don't believe as you do, music transcends all the dogmas, politics, injustices, etc.... right on for Head for doing what he wants with whom he wants, and right on for everyone on here, haters, believers, non believers......
