MARILYN MANSON To Launch His Own Fragrance

What would a perfume dreamed up by MARILYN MANSON smell like? The world is about to find out. The shock-rocker told Women's Wear Daily at the John Galliano show Saturday (October 8) that he was planning to launch his own fragrance early next year. "I'm in the final stages with one of the major companies," said Manson, noting he was "inspired by the Dali-Schiaparelli collaborations." The flag bearer for manly makeup said he hoped his fragrance would be the precursor to a full cosmetics line. He added that he's working on a movie about author Lewis Carroll.
Regarding John Galliano's show for the British designer's summer ready-to-wear collection, Manson said, "I think he's very self-aggrandizing in a very great way. In a way that I like. . . He is someone who lives their art, especially when he puts his own image into his creations. Few people can get away with that. But he can, because he is so fantastic," said Manson, who attended the show with his fiancée Dita von Teese.
"It's not just about the clothes. It's about the whole spirit," Manson said.

just when you thought he couldnt get any gayer, now he's coming out with a fragrance, just like britney spears did. what next? you know that all the hot topic goth wannabe scary kids will be all over this shit, and will try to convince theirselves how great it smells just b/c it came from fuckin manson, all that devotion to nothing more than a lost cause. its not enough that he fired everyone good in the band, but now he tries to make up for the loss of talent from his band by hocking perfume. if you want a good fragrance, invest in some nautica, polo, or drakkar noir, fuck manson.

I personally think that Marilyn Manson is a genius. I mean, come on, everyone knows his name. Either you think he's God, or you don't let him in his house. I'm most defeintly going to buy some of his perfume because he's not dumb, he's going to make something that all teens will like. Just think. His music throws a rope for all lost teens to hold onto and get pulled into an understanding world. All of you guys probably haven't even listened to his music. You just think he's different so you diss him. Well, it's not hurting him any.
