KORN: 'See You On The Other Side' Final Track Listing Revealed - Oct. 19, 2005
BLABBERMOUTH.NET can exclusively reveal the final tracklisting for KORN's new album, "See You on the Other Side". It is as follows:

01. Twisted Transistor
02. Politics
03. Hypocrites
04. Souvenir
05. 2-Way
06. Throw Me Away
07. Love Song
08. Open Up
09. Coming Undone
10. Getting Off
11. Liar
12. For No One
13. Seen It All
14. Saturated Loneliness (Tearjerker)

KORN's new effort was produced by Matrix (AVRIL LAVIGNE, THE MOONEY SUZUKI) and Atticus Ross (BAD RELIGION, NINE INCH NAILS, PINK). Vocalist Jonathan Davis credits these co-producers with helping him free even more of his inner demons in his lyrics.

"I've written seven albums worth of shit, and I have my style, but I wanted something different, not the typical lyrics that I always write," Davis said in a press statement. "I want to come out and say things in a different way, so getting those different people around me, with their different perspectives and different talents, really helped a lot. I've always had a problem getting across what I'm trying to say, because I'm always limited to what I can do within the phrasing and melody of the lyric, but they helped me a lot with that, without losing our vibe.

"We knew we wanted to experiment and see what would happen, but we had no clue it would end up like this," laughed Davis. "It really worked out — we might have lost a member, but we gained another two with Atticus and Matrix."

The cover artwork for < "See You on the Other Side", has been posted online at KornUnleashed.net. The art was designed by David Stoupakis, who was also responsible for the cover of KORN's "Twisted Transistor" single.

"See You on the Other Side" is scheduled for release on December 6 through a global partnership with EMI/Virgin Records. This innovative multiple rights joint venture deal is among the first of its kind in the music industry.

In addition to their record deal, KORN and EMI Music have established a joint venture company in which EMI and Virgin Records will partner with KORN on the band's non-recording activities such as the band's DVD sales, music publishing, touring, merchandise, sponsorship and any other band activities such as film, TV, book or video game projects. The deal which offers KORN unprecedented artistic freedom, enables the group to be more innovative in the multi-platform release of music. KORN have been leaders in this arena, beginning with the KORN TV online campaign in 1998 to more recently when they were the first band to simulcast a live concert in 2002 into movie theaters across the U.S.

KORN are one of the most popular hard rock acts in the world today with a dedicated fan base and widely acclaimed live performances. They have sold a total of 25 million albums worldwide to date, 14 million of which were in the U.S. Their last four albums debuted in the top three of the Billboard Top 200, with two of them having entered the chart at No. 1.

Korn is a fucking great band. They have a original sound that has kept them going strong for the last 12 years. Anyone who has ever been to a Korn show knows that its a fucking AWSOME rock n roll show. I cant wait to pick up this album.

I love to read the posts about Korn in these threads. You hear alot of people call them Wiggers and wanna be's and rapcore and every thing else. I dont know about anyone else but i dont ever recall hearing Johnathan Davis bust out a rap in any of his songs. In fact i dont get a since that thier music has anything to do with rap at all. They may have guest rappers but the sound is still thiers.

Realize that they are fucking rock stars and most of you bashing hater retards live in your moms basement where you will never amount to anything. You troll threads and complain about how bad bands suck. Well untill you idiots amount to anything you should not talk about how bad a band who makes millions, gets laid by hot chicks, and has thousands of fans screaming thier names every night..sucks.

I think a child with autism could have come up with better titles for songs!
It hink they would have been better off naming the songs
1. Frist song
2. song that sounds like the first song
3. son that sounds like the first and kind the second
4. pain
5. this one is to show we are diverse
6. 5th song is a horrible remake of a rap song
7-11. same!

They have yet to match the emotion and vibe of their first cd IMO. This is one of the worst line of comments I've ever seen on blabbermouth.

You guys are pathetic, you can't spell for shit, and you can't even talk shit right.

KoRn is great, not the best. Issues sounds nothing like Untouchables, at all. Take a Look in The Mirror was the closest they came since the first album to having that fire that everyone loved but not quite. I like all of their albums. Follow the Leader and Untouchables were the weakest ones but they did include a few of their best songs to date. I'm sure the new album will be good as well, different, but good.

I like on the tracklisting how they mispelled the first song, it's not Translator, it's Transistor. How do you expect us to believe that that's the official tracklist if it's not even spelled right?

Wow, ANOTHER post with some cleverly typed up track listings mocking the originals. Some of you fucking elitist children seem to be running out of ideas. If a highly intelligent person were to read some of the responses this website's articles receive, their IQ would hit room temperature. Seriously, we get it, you all hate Korn. Yes. We can all see that inflamatory hatred you all carry for this band. Oh, please make sure to compare them to some completely obscure and hapless black metal band. I'm sure the validity and relevance of comparing Korn to something like Kreator or Carcass holds real weight. However I can foresee the multitude of assenine little comments that are going to follow mine. This is not even about the band anymore really. It's just sad to see some people so hopelessly recycle themselves and have nothing better to say.

Everyone seems to be putting in their opinion so I will too.
Korn has come a long way from the band in Bakersfield taht played house parties. I for one am a huge Korn fan and can relate to much of their music. Its crazy to see how people just bash on them all the time. Its fine I guess everyone has an opinion.

I thought these posts would actually have well based critizism founded on actual musical knowledge. Yet all I see is just "korn sucks" and "they should break up" nothing really substancial enough to make me think "hey that makes sense and this guy seems to know what he's talking about, I should probably listen to his close minded death metal thoughts."

I just wish people would actually give some credible comments to base a good post on.

The cover is interesting I think. It does recall the 2nd Acid Bath cover a bit. (Which was actually artwork created by Kevorkian/Dr. Death.) Acid Bath was a great band, imo.

Ok.. Jon rapped on All in the Family with Fred Durst.. so there.. and basing the album on the song titles is weak.. Basing an album before it's even heard is kinda weak too.. I fell off the Korn bandwagon sortly after Issues was released cause I though the album was a little weak.. But meh.. Take a Look in the Mirror was not a bad album... it was heavy, and didn't sound like anything they had done before.. really.. he had some death metalish screaming in there, and it was an OK album.. Korn has always been good at hooks and guitar lines.. always catching, and always had good bounce to it.. the bass lines are more or less the same, but meh.. that's what's selling them albums.. Slayer or AC/DC hasn't changed much.. and they still rock hard..and have been for 20plus years.. so fuck it, why do people waste their time bashing bands.. and not even coming up with any good reasons other than .. " they all sound the same" or " Korn sucks" with very little intelligent backing or coherent thought.. So meh.. don't like Korn, they're still signed to a Record label and still getting money to make the records.. So people out there like them.. and where bands splitting up is as likely as divorce , Kudos for them sticking through it.. There has been a lot of changes to music since their arrival in 94.. and for them to sell out hockey rinks.. Kudos.. Everyone is a bedroom critic, without really knowing anything about music besides the 3 or 4 bands they do like.. refusing to branch off, and thinking they know it all.. You know nothing about the music industry.. if their records sound the same, but are selling.. then that's a formula.. and the record companies want you to stick with what sells.. and they have the say on whether your record gets released or not.. They want a single.. they want money.. they want the money that they put up for the record BACK!! So you little kids.. you know shit!!
