Former NIRVANA Bassist At Opening Of Seattle's HOTEL MAX

According to MJI Interactive, ex- NIRVANA bassist Krist Novoselic was on hand at the opening of Seattle's Hotel Max on Saturday (Oct. 15). The rocker cut the ribbon of the downtown facility, which displays works by local artists and photographers on the doors of its rooms. The hotel's fifth floor is devoted to the city's famous grunge musicians, and features life-size photographs of members of NIRVANA and PEARL JAM, as well as Courtney Love. If Novoselic is so great, why is he the only member of Nirvana not doing anything?!? Because he CAN'T. Cobain and Grohl were the only capable writers there. He can barely even play.

he's a good player. listen to the basslines on "nevermind" or any other Nirvana album for that matter. Much of Nirvana's music is bass-driven.

Novoselic was good at his role in Nirvana. His bass lines were catchy and fit the songs. Being a good musician doesn't always mean playing a million notes a minute. Often not wasting notes is much harder.
And dont forget Dave Grohl dummed for Queens of the Stone Age. The guy is a machine. Makes it look easy. It nice having a story on here without someone saying something stupid. Wish the same could be said for some of the posts.

the first song on the new foo fighters album is pretty kick ass for starters...and yea,novoselic was a pretty good bassist..without him,nirvana woulda been just 3outta tuned chords and and a drummer wasting his talent

sure the foo fighters have done some songs that make you think "grohl, what the fuck?" but that cover they did of 'Baker Street' was kick ass, therefore fuck off.

also have names and motifs top go with the pictures:
Nirvana- the walls are colored brain-matter grey.
Pearl Jam- 'the has-been' room
Mudhoney- 'the never-was' room
Alice in Chains- this room comes with comped 8 balls and is only checked on every few weeks.
Courtney- this room always smells of women suffering from that 'not so fresh feeling'
