AXL ROSE Is One Of 'Coolest Old People'

According to The Boston Globe, GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose was voted one of the world's ''Coolest Old People" by the teenage readers of ELLEgirl magazine. Rose ranked second on the list, which included such other celebrities as Madonna, Karl Lagerfeld, Mick Jagger, Clint Eastwood, Elvis Costello and Julie Andrews. The number one internationally cool old person, according to the international survey in the magazine's November issue? It's "Grandparents."

I pity any current GNR fan waiting for chinese democracy. I stopped waiting 3 years ago after his new GNR fucked up tour got canceled (At least I got a refund for my tickets). Please move on with your lives, he is insecure and will never release that album.

He raised the bar for you all -- deal with it.
The world needed and craved a band with an Eric Clapton like guitar player (that would be Slash) and a Robert Plant like singer (that would be Axl) and GNR gave it to us and it was great. For awhile there was something colorful and beautiful and funny and ferocious in the boring old gray commercial macho shithead world that rock and roll has become.
Slash and Duff are stilll cool, but even they blend into the blandness on the radio.
Lemmy definitely is the coolest old person, but it's cool that Axl still incites such comment. All someone has to do is mention his name and y'all foam at the mouth. If he's smart, he'll pull a Lenny Bruce on us all.

Axl ISN' T Gn' R!!!!!!!!! Gn' R is Slash, Duff, Steven, Izzy and Axl. If what' s left from Gn' R is the original band, then Adler' s Appetite and Velvet Revolver are Gn' R too! Talking about a)reunions, Motley Crue never fullfilled lawsuites against each other. Quite recently Slash and Duff sued Axl ONCE AGAIN...
b) who' s sexy and/or cool, Axl USED to be both back in the eighties; now he' s the ghost of the flamboyant guy he used to be. Gn 'R are NEVER reuniting... I think it' s more possible for Randy Rhoads to get ressurected and rejoin Ozzy than seeing Axl reconciliating with the other ORIGINAL members. But we can keep dreaming 'till that day comes.......
