MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer
Tommy Lee makes a cameo appearance in the new video from country-rocker
Keith Anderson. The clip of
"XXL", by award-winning director
Trey Fanjoy and produced by
Don Lepore for
Picture Vision, incorporates multiple vivid dramatic scenes interwoven with energy-charged live performance footage of the
Arista Nashville recording artist and his band. In one scene,
Lee is surrounded by glamorous nurses and takes on an OBGYN (Obstetrics and Gynecology) role and delivers a baby boy as he lip-syncs, 'Oh, mama, he's a XXL!!' In another vignette,
Anderson joins three gorgeous southern belles and one ugly humongous steer with a huge Texas flag in the background. Former
Tennessee Titans football celebrity
Eddie George takes on a "youthful" role and joins some pre-teen football players in another hilarious
"XXL" scene. Watch the clip at
AOL Music.
"The
'XXL' video treatment nails exactly — and even beyond — the vision that I had for the song back when I co-wrote it with
Bob DiPiero," exudes
Anderson. "It carries on the spirit of my album,
'Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll', by pairing an Oklahoma country boy with a die-hard rocker, Dr. Feelgood himself,
Tommy Lee of
MÖTLEY CRÜE! Then, for added flavor," he laughingly adds, "we played up the sports theme in the song's lyrics by creating a cameo for football legend
Eddie George — and, of course, to make it a well-balanced video, we had to cast plenty of beautiful actresses!"
Filmed in Nashville on September 11,
Keith Anderson's newest video event is the highly-anticipated follow-up to his No 1 debut music video,
"Pickin' Wildflowers". According to
CMT (
Country Music Television),
Anderson has been the only male debut artist to land a No 1 video on their network this year.
