EDGUY To Support DRAGONFORCE In The U.K. - Nov. 7, 2005

German melodic metallers EDGUY have announced six U.K. dates as the opening act for DRAGONFORCE. The rest of the European tour EDGUY will headline, withDRAGONFORCE as support. In addition, they have confirmed SAVAGE CIRCUS (the new band featuring former BLIND GUARDIAN drummer Thomen Stauch and PERSUADER members Jens Karlsson and Emil Norberg) as the support act for therr previously announced three Japanese dates in March. The newly added U.K. dates are as follows:

Jan. 27 - Manchester, UK @ MDH
Jan. 29 - Nottingham, UK @ Nottingham Rock City
Jan. 30 - Leeds, UK @ University
Jan. 31 - Glasgow, UK @ Glasgow Academy
Feb. 01 - Newcastle, UK @ University
Feb. 03 - London, UK @ Astoria

As previously reported, EDGUY have set a January 20, 2006 release date for their new album, "Rocket Ride" (Nuclear Blast). The follow-up to 2004's "Hellfire Club" was recorded with producer Sascha Paeth (who also worked with the band on their "Superheroes" EP) and is said to feature the band's most "diverse" material to date.

	I might go to Nottingham or Manchester, just for Edguy. I've lost interest in Dragonforce. So overrated it hurts.

	DragonForce is 100x bigger than Edguy in the UK... it's so obvious. Those 2 band's sound are totally different, you can't compare orange with Apple. Both great bands.
