The Kirk booblehead only bobs in "yes" direction. The Trujillo bobblehead bobs in the "why did I do this" direction. Lars' bobblehead doesn't move because it's fixed in the stare position. The James bobblehead only tilts to one side.
Future Metchandise does include the condoms, slot machines, lunchboxes, halloween custumes and of course coffins. But of course does not include, well written or compelling music. That is simply a product we can longer produce, a MyTurdLicka spokesperson recently announced.

Their slippery slope to shit music began with MoP. That was their very first move toward the commercial. I'm about to date myself, but Ride the Lightming was my favorite album in 6th grade... or was it 5th? ...no matter. Along came the disappointment of MoP in 7th.

I wish metallica would of broken up when jason quit... their merch has gotten close to KISS. I can understand the regular bobble heads but tiki bobbleheads? They're not even tropical... I don't get it with them anymore... It's getting really hard to like Metallica now. I'm glad i got a zeppelin tattoo instead of a Metallica tat i thought of getting

by the way I know i defend metallica a lot but i'm starting to rethink that. After I got ahold of a bootleg of their philly show in 04... it was horrible, i've heard cover bands play their songs better.

...I've seen good bands blow it on-stage. I don't think that's the point here. I've seen Phil Anselmo eat shit more than he remembers eating, but I still respect the drunk fucker. The point is selling out in a BIG way. Shit music, money grubbing, fan forgetting bullshit. THAT's the point. Metallica sold the first part of their soul w/MoP.

Metallicas last decent album was Justice, but even then they were starting to show signs of fatigue by slowing things down too much and getting all repetitive. I fucking HATE the black album and pretty much everything after that. I gave up hope a long-ass time ago that they would ever write anything remotely thrashy again.
If only it was Lars who fell out that window...

Only dumbasses get bands tattooed on themselves. Unless you are in that band or know the band can you tattoo them on your body. Get a more original idea.
That being said only original tatoos with an idea you created and had a real tatoo artist design are worth anything. Tribal band tatoos, barbed wire, hearts/unicorns, stars, names/logos of popular bands, songs of bands, tatoos seen on someone famous you thought were cool.

its the best selling album out of all the major 90s bands nirvana, gnr, rhcp etc.

Why is opening for a legendary band like the Stones a bad thing?Paying respect is a good thing unless your a nutjob.The rest of your post I agree with.I was blown away by Masters and love everything before and up to Garage Days.The Black Album might of had a chance if it wasn't rammed down everyones throats.I think the last time I listened to it was a month after it came out.Now it collects dust.

As far as Metallica being "irrelevent" I'd bet 12 beers that they'll sell more copies of this new album due next year in 15 minutes than the majority of us here will make in our lives.
