AEROSMITH Plotting Out Three Different Album Projects

Launch Radio Networks reports: AEROSMITH just released a new live album called "Rockin' the Joint", but they've also got a few other projects in mind. Lead guitarist Joe Perry told the Rhode Island newspaper The Providence Journal that the band will start work on a new studio album in the spring, while two other records are in the works — one is a covers record featuring pop and rock classics from the 1960s, while the other will have them re-recording some of their classic songs. Perry said, "I'm certainly a better guitar player than I was in 1973." There's no word on when any of the albums will be released.
AEROSMITH and LENNY KRAVITZ bring their tour to the Dunkin' Donuts Civic Center in Providence tonight (Monday, November 14).

oh what ever, Aerosmith rocks, if you don't like it. Don't buy it and go and get yourself a Nu-Metal CD. Classic bands rule kiddos.

areosmith lost the feel 4 the music years ago. love in an elevator,
jaimies got a gun, pink ???? come on bro this music blows . i had the bootleg album when i was a kid and i loved it .. but they went 4 the birds 4 the cash ... period and another thing that shit '' kiddos'' whats that u sayin cause yer middle aged yer ears are somehow better to hear the music. quite the opposite if yer into that weak shit aerosmith is force feading u on the radio now adays id say its just the opposite yer either tone def or out of touch ! put that in yer pipe and smoke it

They haven't been good since Done with Mirrors when they were done with drugs. The "covers" CD might be worth a listen be a rehashing of the glory days and a new album, if anything like the last 5 or 6, absolutely Snorevile, USA, population every let down fan they ever had.
Although I will still hold out and believe in Joe Perry as a solo artist. Just tired of Tyler's homogenized, formulaic, corporate safe writing that makes them nothing more than a Rolling Stones of their generation. Too bad, when get rich and get clean, you lose the drive, desire and hunger to be inventive and compelling.

* pop
they'll be about rice cereals and they will feature 3 gay elfs on the cover

what's with the 'latest and greatest' disc they're thinking about?
and they JUST did a covers album!
i've got all their albums, but they're throwing product out there like it's going out of style... live disc, covers disc, re-rerecord disc, new covers disc...
why don't they just sit down and do something they've never done, like a DOUBLE STUDIO ALBUM! you can throw a cover or two on there for filler, but put out new stuff! i thought 'bobo' was supposed to help them get their juices flowing again so that they could go back and write in their own style, NOT to get inspired to do ANOTHER covers album!!!

i happen to really like corporate music IF the singer goes into the upper register and aerosmith can still do that as good as they ever did.
i liked "ten" but i hate the trend started by pearl jam with all the fake sounding monotone vocals.
i like to hear some soul-filled, gospel tinged screeching.
or just screeching without the soul-filled, gospel tinged thing too.
