GOD DETHRONED Bassist To Sit Out Most Of THE HAUNTED Tour - Nov. 16, 2005

GOD DETHRONED bassist Henk "Henke" Zinger will be temporarily replaced after the first four shows of the band's upcoming tour with THE HAUNTED and GOD FORBID (November 21 onwards) due to "other obligations." However, Zinger's position in the group will remain unaffected and he will resume his duties before the end of the year. A temporary replacement bassist has yet to be announced. Confirmed dates can be found at this location.

GOD DETHRONED's most recent album, "The Lair of the White Worm", was released last November via Metal Blade Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Into the Lungs of Hell" was recorded at Berno Studios in Malmö, Sweden by Henrik Larsson and was mastered at Franky's Recording Kitchen by Berthus Westerhuis. It marks the group's first release with new members, guitarist Isaac De La Haye (who replaced Jens van der Valk) and bassist Henk "Henke" Zinger (GRINDMINDED).

	other obligations!?!? whats the point of being in a band if yo're gonna skip out on the touring and shit?! i guess his boss at Pizza Hut wouldnt give him any time off...

	This band is great. They never disappoint. I recently saw them a couple months back, it was a great show. "the Grand Grimoire and Bloody Blasphemy" are still 2 of my favorite albums ever. True greatness on those albums. I've always thought these guys were way too underrated.
