BEYOND THE EMBRACE Part Ways With Drummer, Seek Replacement

New Bedford, Massachusetts-based sextet BEYOND THE EMBRACE have parted ways with longtime friend and drummer Kevin Camille. The band will be auditioning drummers throughout November. "We are hoping to find a new drummer by the end of the year so that we can resume the songwriting process," the band write in a press release. "We are also currently working on some touring plans for February 2006. More info on that will be available soon."
BEYOND THE EMBRACE's sophomore album, "Insect Song", was released last year via Metal Blade Records. The band hope to return to the recording studio in November to begin work on the follow-up, tentatively due in early 2006.

good band.hope they find a replacement soon.one of the more talented of the new metalcore bands.hope they contiue on.

Like them quite a bit. they have a cool old school metal vibe about them. were a perfect fit a few yrs back on the helloween/jag panzer tour

yeah they aren't metalcore at all...they were one of the few american bands to actually play real swedish-style melodic death (like enforsaken), atleast on the debut...the second album was pretty good...not really sure what they were trying to accomplish, but i liked it.
but no, they have never been metalcore
their drummer was always kind of a weak link i think...they should be able to replace him no prob

Saw them earlier this year...and while I think I was the only one there who knew who they were, by the end, they had won over a large portion of the audience. Here's hoping they find someone soon and get back in the studio! Insect Song is awesome!!!
