MICHAEL SCHENKER: 'I Have Been Threatened'

Legendary guitarist Michael Schenker (MSG, UFO, SCORPIONS) has posted the following message on his web site:
"I have been threatened and don't feel safe coming back to the States. Even after making support payments I was told that this was turned over to support enforcement and that I must pay or the measurements would be severe. I am being threatened with my passport being suspended, my assets frozen and jail time. Please understand I cannot return until this situation had been resolved."
Michael Schenker has spent the last few months working on a special CD to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP. Entitled "Tales of Rock 'n' Roll", the album will feature guest appearances by past MSG singers, including Robin McAuley, Kelly Keeling, Gary Barden, Leif Sundin and Chris Logan. A total of 18 tracks are being recorded.

Bring your guitar to court and play a song for the Judge.If you have been charged with not paying child support then you get to have your case heard before a Judge and you can post bail and drag it out for years.They want money Michael !! let your Attorney handle it.

I know that Schenker lost his house (w/t home studio) and had to sell his 3 Gibson V's to pay his ex-wife (and support some kind of habit).
It's sad, but if your a "rock star" stay the fuck single! Wrap it up, do them groupies like a game of golf and pray that the jimmyhat don't break.
I can't understand why movie stars and rock stars get married?

this is to funny, the real reason he doesn't want to come is because if he plays live it will show what an iverated hack he is! besides that he is a deadbeat dad? what a total loser, the kid is better off not knowing this bum but he deserbes the money he is owed. if you are such a guitar god it should not be that hard to find work and make some money.

I do feel sorry for MS, but maybe he'd help himself if he occasionally said, "I fucked up. It's NOT because Cozy Powell hit me, NOT because a manager squandered my money, and NOT because I sat on a thistle when I was recording Lonesome Crow... It's MY fault." Tough love, they call it.

Michael Schenker's former personal manager, Nancy Lewis, has slammed the legendary guitarist over the comments posted on his web site regarding his personal and working relationship with Lewis (in which he accused Lewis of being a drug addict and harassing him ever since he "fired" her in May 2004). The following statement was sent to BLABBERMOUTH.NET by Lewis earlier today:
"Once again, the 'guitar god' Michael Schenker has chosen to fill his website with letters from fans and not-so-fans, the former more carefully chosen. I was Michael's personal manager from January to May 2004 and my first chores were: get his car out of impound that had been towed away on his 2003 tour (he couldn't find it) and i had it personally delivered to his home; Get back his driver's license that had been suspended because of two drunk-driving arrests one week apart; get him a new green resident alien card, and for the first time in all of his 50 years, file his income tax; get him a great graphic artist to do all his print work for free; and convince him the Dean deal was worth taking. My published letters are signed and and I still work in the music business with major acts in a different capacity — major acts who, for confidentiality reasons, I cannot name here.
"I was the first woman Michael met when he landed on American soil, as my roommate was the tour manager for a band. I had never heard of UFO, not to mention Michael. I knew him as a person, not a guitar hero. I did nothing but help this man who needs to help himself get over his alcohol addiction, which is the reason for all his problems, not Bella Piper and Nancy Lewis. Yet he continues to let his fans think of me as a four-letter word starting with 'c,' owes me over $600 for calls made at his insistence on my cell phone and left my business account overdrawn until the bank closed it. This, my friends, is the 'real' Michael Schenker. Any more detail would be branded as sick and pornographic by anyone's standards. He needs to concentrate on his career and place the blame where it belongs, not on me and Bella Piper — he rehired her! Leopards don't change their spots.
