ARMORED SAINT Confirmed For Germany's BANG YOUR HEAD!!! Festival

Reunited California-based metallers ARMORED SAINT, who feature in their ranks (former?) ANTHRAX singer John Bush and current FATES WARNING bassist Joey Vera, have been confirmed for next year's installment of the Bang Your Head!!! festival, set to take place June 23-24, 2006 in Balingen, Germany. The festival billing is shaping up as follows (in alphabetical order):

ARMORED SAINT last performed live on July 30, 2005 at the Dodge Theater in Phoenix, Arizona as the opening act for the SCORPIONS. It is not presently clear if plans exist for the band to begin work on a new studio album. The group's last CD, "Revelation", came out in 2000 on the Metal Blade label.

As a metalhead, it's good to live in Germany - Wacken, Bang Your Head, Rock Hard, With Full Force, Rock Am Ring/Im Park within german borders, and only a couple more driving hours to Dynamo, Graspop, Roskilde, Gods Of Metal...
I like Bang Your Head for the retro-approach as a part of the annual lineup - where else do you get the chance to see bands like Watchtower or Satan playing live?
And now Amored Saint. That's cool, especially for John Bush. Best of luck to him on his future endeavors - outside of Anthrax I guess.
"I can't wait to play Bush-era songs again". NOT. Shit happens, Mr. Ian.

John Norum rules and the first two Europe albums are great heavy rock in the vein of classic Thin Lizzy.

They probably got on the bill because you got Kelly Hansen from "Hurricane" fame singing, Jeff Pilson from "Dokken" playing bass, and Jason Bonham from "Bonham" son of John Henry on the skins.

The Saint will NEVER die!! Fuck Anthrax and scott snot ian. Bush IS one of the best metal vocalists ever and I cant wait to hear the new songs that should come out of this reunion. Pritchard lives!!!!!~
