DORO To Perform ABBA Classic On German TV
- Nov. 30, 2005
German metal singer Doro Pesch will be performing her version of the ABBA classic "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme (A Man After Midnight)" on an ABBA tribute show on the German TV station RTL. The program will air on December 3 beginning at 10:15 p.m.
Pesch has just released a new EP, entitled "In Liebe Und Freundschaft" (For Love and Friendship) via AFM Records. The EP's title cut is a first taste of Doro's upcoming album, tentatively titled "Warrior Soul", which is due on March 24, 2006.

Tutti Frutti? That was 15 years ago! No, it lasted for three years only. Bummer, because I really liked the "Erdbeere" back then. Haha!
As for Doro and ABBA: "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme" is one of their weak songs (shitty disco-period), why didn't Doro cover "The Winner Takes It All" or "S.O.S."? Oh well.
