JUDAS PRIEST: OWENS-Era Live Recordings Posted Online

Live recordings of JUDAS PRIEST performing the tracks "Devil's Child" and "Exciter" in 2002 with Tim "Ripper" Owens (currently in ICED EARTH/ BEYOND FEAR) on lead vocals have been posted online at Owens' official Brazilian web site. Download them in MP3 format at this location. As previously reported, Owens has been confirmed as one of the performers at "Roadrunner United Live", the biggest event in Roadrunner history, which is happening on December 15 at the Nokia Theatre in Times Sq. New York City. Tickets are on sale now at all Ticketmaster locations. Some of the other special guests confirmed to perform at the Roadrunner Records' 25th anniversary concert include members of SLIPKNOT, MACHINE HEAD, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, BIOHAZARD, LIFE OF AGONY, FEAR FACTORY, SEPULTURA and TRIVIUM, who will join the already announced "core band" comprised of Joey Jordison ( SLIPKNOT) on drums, Andreas Kisser ( SEPULTURA) on lead guitar, Dino Cazares (ex- FEAR FACTORY, BRUJERIA) on rhythm guitar, and Adam Duce ( MACHINE HEAD) on bass. Special guests, including past and present Roadrunner artists and other metal icons, will join the band onstage to play 20 classic Roadrunner tunes along with a few choice cuts from "Roadrunner United: The All Star Sessions".

OK so That job intervioeww yesterrday didnt go welkl at all. I told the peole there to suck my dick after they said "oyu neeed to practice your interviewing slkills" because I was wqaearing an iron maidne tshirt. Ok now this is a job as a secratery at a dentists office not a Secret Serveic position. Im thinkgi of tlalking to a lawyer but man what a bunch of sellouts. no one is getting me to were a shirt and tie dudeim a rocker.

I am not retarde I am not on welfare I am in between jobs at hte moment I am 38 years oldand I live with my mom right now I jkust got fired from the post offfice so no things arent exactly great OK??/ No thigns arent easy but Im not about to sellout and turn my Iron MAiden shirt inside Out just to get a jbo at the detnstist office thats gay and only selellouts would do that. Priest should add a few songs from the Jugulator album to their live set.That album is 1,000x better than that shitass Angel of Retribution.

ripper sucks sooooooooooooooooooooo much man. i cant believe he was actually in the mighty priest. u do not know how happy i am that rob is finaly back.

Nice to hear the the songs sung like they are to be sung. And this is a bootleg that isn't resung like Hlaford does. As for live in london, I love that CD just because he did it one time and it rocked. Tim is the man, I love Rob but to bash Tim for some shitty song writing, If thats the case, it's Roberta's fautl for the last Priest cd sucking so bad....I'm a LOCH NESS Monster HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

He didnt write the songs on Demolition.KK Downing and Glen Tipton did.Jugulator is a KILLER album and is better than most of the ones Priest did with Halford.If it wernt for him,Priest would have broke up a long time ago.

Turning up inappropriately dressed is unprofessional and immature. I wouldn't turn up for a meeting with a record company dressed in casual cloths. First impressions are important... Would you give a job to a looser who dresses like a scruffy tramp and lives with his mummy???
I quite like Ripper in Priest. Not many people could get on stage and sing Priest songs, and I reckon he's one of the few other than Halford who can.

Has anybody seen Halford on stage doing the robot or some kind of slow village peolple, Tim is high octane on stage, and the punching is cool.

Tim never said that, That is what Rob did, never say Tim said that! Rob left Metal and came out of the closet and put all us metalheads down and said it out of style and then he did a NIN cd, Yes, I'm glad he is back in metal, but Tim is a true Metal Head, don't bash him for that. If you don't like Tim, just post on something else.

obviously haven't seen Halford perform live in the past 3 years. I'm sorry but he's just terrible now. I've been a huge Priest fan since 1979 and have seen them many, many times. But after seeing his "performance" at Bang Your Head in Germany 2002 and again a few months ago with Priest I can honestly say I'll never spend another dime to see them play live. And Ripper, for all of his youth and inexeperience at first just tore the shit out of those Priest songs every time I saw him live.
