JUDAS PRIEST Go Sightseeing In Moscow: Photos Available - Dec. 5, 2005
JUDAS PRIEST Management Co-Ordinator Jayne Andrews has posted the following message on the band's official web site:

"Glenn [Tipton, guitar], Ian [Hill, bass], some of the crew and I all had a great day out in Moscow — checking out all the tourist sights — the Kremlin, Red Square, Lenin's Tomb, St. Basil's Cathedral etc. We had a lot of fun and then had a great meal in a Russian restaurant. Our guide Sasha (friend of Jo Lee's) was full of really interesting stories about Russian history. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day even though it was absolutely freezing!!"

Check put the photos at JudasPriest.com.

JUDAS PRIEST issued their new DVD, "Rising in the East", in North America on November 15 via Rhino Home Video. A European release will follow on January 16, 2006.

Vocalist Rob Halford, lead guitarists Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing, bass guitarist Ian Hill and drummer Scott Travis filmed "Rising in the East" in May 2005 at the legendary Budokan in Tokyo, Japan. The definitive JUDAS PRIEST lineup played two sold-out nights at the venue to promote the early-2005 release of the critically acclaimed studio album "Angel of Retribution", their first new material in 15 years. "Rising in the East" is JUDAS PRIEST's first straight-to-DVD release.

As much as I don't like this gossip bollocks, I must say Moscow is a beautiful and extremely fascinating city and Judas Priest made and still make great music, so the two go well together.
