GODSMACK To Begin Mixing New Album In January

The National Hockey League ( NHL) has added GODSMACK bassist Robbie Merrill to their Blog Central, a feature on their web site written by celebrity hockey fans. The posts will include Robbie's views and opinions on hockey, as well as any GODSMACK or personal news that he chooses to share. His first blog entry is available now at this location. An excerpt from the entry follows: "As we speak, the band is in the studio in L.A. recording. We are at the end of our session, maybe two or three more weeks. Then we will take a break for the holidays and then start up again in January to mix and master. That is about a two to three week process. "I am personally loving the music. The band will have a meeting about the songs each band member loves and hates. All in all, it is going to be a bleeping good record, I mean CD. I am old school. I still say record." GODSMACK's follow-up to 2003's "Faceless" is tentatively due late spring/early summer via Universal. GODSMACK frontman Sully Erna will perform the national anthem January 1, 2006 prior to the New England Patriots' home game against the Miami Dolphins in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The NFL contest is scheduled to air on CBS at 1 p.m. ET. Erna previously sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the Windham, N.H., Baseball-Softball League's Fest-a-Ball event last May.

most of the teenie bopper posters here on blabbermouth like the cooki monster singers...which they suck! these kids on blabbermouth figure if the singer dont growl...and make rediculous noises...they suck......godsmack has put out some of the best metal albums in the last 11 years or so!//...period! all the new bands that have emerged in the last 10 yrs or so are rediculously untalented crap! with the exception of a couple....its depressing how the lack of good metal has decayed the listening population! long live old school metal!!!!
judas priest,maiden, ozzy/sabbath,megadeth, OLD metallica (pre black album),scorpions, to name a few! some good and very talented musicians!.....
fuck mushugah(or however u spell the name of that shitty band) and all other tallentles bands that sound like em!

Godsmack is an awesome band with a great singer, real songs and they put on an awesome live show
