LOST HORIZON To Rework Early Song For Upcoming CD
- Dec. 16, 2005
|
|
|
Swedish melodic metallers LOST HORIZON have announced that they will rework a previously unreleased song from the days when they were still known as HIGHLANDER for their upcoming album, tentatively due next year via an as-yet-undetermined label (the band were previously signed to the now-defunct Music For Nations).
LOST HORIZON vocalist Daniel Heiman and guitarist Fredrik Olsson left the group in the summer of 2004 in order to pursue other projects. The remainder of the group — Wojtek Lisicki (who last year returned to LOST HORIZON), Christian Nyquist, Attila Publik and Martin Furängen — are continuing their search for a new vocalist.

...that they'll find someone who can match or beat Daniel. He's literally one of the best vocalists the metal genre has ever had. Lost Horizon was a great band with him...but I'm not sure they'll be as good without him.
At least we have Daniel Heiman's new band HEED. They're fucking awesome and he really shines on the material. Great stuff.

Daniel was one in a million. I still like what I hear from the (very) early demo. Wojtek is an incredible composer.

"Daniel Heiman come back, you are irreplaceable."
Seconded. One of the best singers to arrive on the metal scene since Matt Barlow.

As stated, Daniel is irreplacable. He has the best voice I have ever heard sung over metal music. His range is just amazing and his vocals lines are written and performed with passion and power. The middle section of "Highlander (The One)" is the best vocal line ever written (you know which one Im talking about).
Heed sound awesome but I need to get their cd...ive only heard samples.
But, Id love for him to return to LH.
