Original JUDAS PRIEST Singer Says BLABBERMOUTH.NET Detractors Are 'Sad Bastards'

Original JUDAS PRIEST singer Al Atkins' official web site has been updated with the following message: " Al wishes all his friends and fans a merry Xmas and a great New Year, even to those sad bastards who comment on Blabbermouth. [*Edit by [ Atkins'] webmaster… Al? Surely you didnt mean that? Oh man, it's not their fault they have no talent, mate! They are just sad losers with major man boobs.] " Al's off to California in January to visit the NAMM exhibition, which he as been invited to, along with Pete Emms, his bass player. He hopes to have some dates added to the new site for 2006 when they have all been confirmed." As previously reported, Atkins has just released a new promotional DVD. Produced by Mpeguk Ltd, the DVD (released on DVD-R) includes music videos of three selected tracks off his new CD, "Demon Deceiver - The Sin Sessions": the title track, "Demon Deceiver", "Cradle to the Grave" and the JUDAS PRIEST classic "Victim of Changes". The musicians include BUDGIE guitarist Simon Lees, DANTE FOX guitarist Mike de Jager, VASELINE RATS bass player Pete MZ Emms, drummers Mick Hales and Adrian Badlands, and guitarist Chris Johnson. The videos include footage shot during the recording of the tracks at MAGNUM's Madhat Studios, JB's Live Music Venue and during Al's tour of the U.S. Check out sample clips at www.mpeguk.com. Free downloads, including iPod downloads, will be available on the site shortly. Al has recorded "Victim of Changes" three times on different albums over the last 15 years since he turned solo. "This time it's a much shorter and faster version than before. It's fucking awesome," Atkins said. Also appearing on the album is a song called "Drown", which is said to be a duet between Al and Kansas-based vocalist/guitarist Johnny Lokke.

"PEST" spammed the board. Yeah, I like opie and anthony too, but if you get sattelite, XM SUCKS DONKEY DICK for metal. They have one "heavy metal" station that plays old cheese rock , most bands I have never heard of and I go way back.
Sirius has 3 metal/hard rock stations and you hear Death metal, speed metal, thrash, good old school stuff, etc.
For that reason I have Sirius AND XM because XM was already installed, but then I went and got Sirius for the music.
Anyone thinking about sattelite, get sirius.

Before I read this news message, I'd never heard of Al Atkins either. But if he's co-written Victim of Changes, one of my all-time favourite songs, featuring awesome lyrics, then that's cool. You gotta respect that. And since I don't come to Blabbermouth to post foul-mouthed messages, I don't feel offended by his comments on Blabbermouth users either. He's not talking about me. So I'll try to find some mp3 samples of his music (like a Victim of Changes remake, as unpromising as that sounds) and check them out.
My questions are: Are there any demo releases available from Judas Priest with Al Atkins on vocals? Did he also cowrite other Priest songs, for example from Rocka Rolla (which actually features some great songs too)? And why was Atkins forced to quit the band? Note that for example some of those early Maiden (demo and album) recordings are exceptional, even though Dianno is a very different and not quite as great vocalist as Dickinson. Not the mention the early vocalists of some other great bands (Dream Theater, Exodus and Anthrax, anyone?). So I'd be really interested to find out what Priest sounded like with Atkins on vocals.
Well, I guess I shouldn't expect too many Blabbermouth users to be interested in answering such questions, so I will try to find out by looking at Atkins' webpage and other metal sources on the internet myself. But if any of you knows the answers and will post it here, I thank you in advance.

nope after leaving pantera terry formed a band called Lord Tracy that had a cd out in 89 and a video on mtv (almost 2 years before CFH)

Anybody who compares this fucking talentless fuck to Dianno is a fucking fool. Dianno is the real thing. Listen to the Killers albums before you judge him. Maiden fucked up losing him. Im not bashing Bruce just like Diannos style much more.
