Original JUDAS PRIEST Frontman 'Apologizes' To BLABBERMOUTH.NET Detractors

Original JUDAS PRIEST singer Al Atkins' official web site has been updated with the following message: " Al says thanx for all the comments on Blabbermouth. He expected a lot worse than that because he knows critics hate being criticized themselves. He also says he's sorry for what he said and would like to send you all a Xmas card. IT WOULD PROBABLY BE THE ONLY ONE YOU WHINGING, MOANING, SAD, ARSEWIPE LOSERS WILL GET THIS YEAR." As previously reported, Atkins has just released a new promotional DVD. Produced by Mpeguk Ltd, the DVD (released on DVD-R) includes music videos of three selected tracks off his new CD, "Demon Deceiver - The Sin Sessions": the title track, "Demon Deceiver", "Cradle to the Grave" and the JUDAS PRIEST classic "Victim of Changes". The musicians include BUDGIE guitarist Simon Lees, DANTE FOX guitarist Mike de Jager, VASELINE RATS bass player Pete MZ Emms, drummers Mick Hales and Adrian Badlands, and guitarist Chris Johnson. The videos include footage shot during the recording of the tracks at MAGNUM's Madhat Studios, JB's Live Music Venue and during Al's tour of the U.S. Check out sample clips at www.mpeguk.com. Free downloads, including iPod downloads, will be available on the site shortly. Al has recorded "Victim of Changes" three times on different albums over the last 15 years since he turned solo. "This time it's a much shorter and faster version than before. It's fucking awesome," Atkins said. I agree that it's probably not in the best interest for any artist to try and bash the Blabbermouth loudmouth squad. It's the equivelent of trying to argue with an idiot...they just drag you down to their level and beat you with years of experience. Given, there are many good posters here that have intelligent things to say, but they are always overshadowed by the countless morons who haven't escaped their parents basement and ventured out into the real world because it scares them.
Yes, there are many artists that I do not like myself, but I don't feel the compelling need to log on and spew as much shit as possible every time Blabbermouth posts something about them. Once in a while, I'll say something, but I try to stick to the bands and news that I do like and have interest in. It's too bad that more posters here don't have a little more common sense to realize the same thing....but instead, they're more worried who' going to get "first post" on any given thread. i didnt think i could add to the posts, but i dont see anyone blasting him for re-recording 2 versions of "caviar and meths"
that pic of him is funny, trying to look all serious.
and for all you "true" fans, you really should go to his web site and add posts to his book.
next thing you know he'll call peter green for a duet, or better yet--JOAN BAEZ.

Not surprisingly, all of the dumb assholes come out and bash him with wierd looking posts that are supposed to make the poster look smart or powerful or something. Is it that they have such sad pathetic lives that they need to get some attention from people online who may as well be robots? Hey, you'd never know.
