IN FLAMES' new album, "Come Clarity", will include a free bonus DVD featuring the band performing the album in full in a rehearsal room, akin to what METALLICA did with initial versions of their "St. Anger" album. In addition, one of the album's songs — "Dead End" — features the vocals of Swedish singer/songwriter Lisa Miskovsky.

"Come Clarity", is scheduled for a February 7, 2006 North American release through Ferret Records. The CD will be issued in Europe on February 6, 2006 via Nuclear Blast Records.

The follow-up to 2004's "Soundtrack to Your Escape", "Come Clarity" was mixed at Tonteknik studio in Umeå, Sweden and is "the best one we've ever done," according to IN FLAMES guitarist Jesper Strömblad. A video for the album's opening track, "Take This Life" (mp3), was shot late last month with director Patric Ullaeus (DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL).

And the new album's the best of their latest three ones.
Sepultura are ungodly great, with or without Max.
Nation had some boring songs but a lot of good stuff in it too.
Roorback's pretty good and Against fucking rules. All of their back catalogue fucking rules. And Live in Sao Paulo is incredibly good. I'm glad they're playing so many dates in Europe.
Long Live SEPULTURA!!!!!!!

Have made better albums after Max left:
Against is better than Roots
Nation beats Chaos AD

Disagree with me all you want, but the quality is there. It might not be your taste, you might just like thrash or metalcore a la Chaos A.D. (yes, that's metalcore too, good metalcore as opposed to what's called metalcore today), but the quality of the band never left. They just change style every album and people tend not to like that. I do.

And regardless of what album you like the most, LIVE they DESTROY. Always. Derrick is an awesome frontman, as good as Max was when he was in Sepultura, Andreas is flawless and amazing, Igor destroys the drums and Paulo does what he does.

And indeed, Sepultura SHOULD headline.
Regardless, I'll go to Eindhoven, probably Antwerp, and perhaps some German dates.

when i asw in flames supporting motorhead they played a very 90s heavy set, that coupled with the decent new album should make a great show. ive never heard much sepultra, but i like what i have heard, this should own

p.s RtR and STYE were not In Flames albums, they were imposters working under the name (if this turned out to be true id never stop smiling)

of Sepultura's decadence. I used to worship them - before going hardcore - now they're just ridiculed here in Brazil... meanwhile, Max returned to the good ol' thrash tunes. Way to go!

Max ain't coming back. What you see is what you get. I'm listening to 'Nation' right now, and I can't help wishing more people would give the Derrick Green fronted Sepultura more support. Max only had the one voice, but he did that voice to perfection. Derrick, on the other hand, is much more versatile, and it's cool to hear the band treading new territory. For those of you that think Derrick Green has turned them hardcore, I've got three words for you... Biotech Is Godzilla. Nonetheless, they SHOULD be headlining this show. In Flames take more cock than Kull on $2 beer night.

Mmm.... Beer... c(_)
