HEED Part Ways With Drummer, Bassist - Dec. 23, 2005
HEED, the new Swedish band featuring former LOST HORIZON members Daniel Heiman (vocals) and Fredrik Olsson (guitar), have parted ways with drummer Mats Karlsson (stand-in drummer for LOST HORIZON's Spanish tour) and bassist Jörgen Olsson (ex-SEVENTH ONE). Their replacements have already been chosen and the new members took part in the video shoot for the song "Last Drop of Blood", which began on Saturday, December 17.

Commented Daniel and Fredrik: "This band has never been hotter. Finally we seem to have found the right essence for a perfect band!"

"Last Drop of Blood" comes off HEED's debut album, "The Call", which was released in Japan on October 21.

As previously reported, HEED are continuing to negotiate with various record labels regarding the worldwide release of "The Call". The CD features a special guest appearance on backing vocals by former YNGWIE MALMSTEEN frontman Göran Edman. A jukebox featuring audio samples of the songs that appear on "The Call" can be accessed at this location.
