You know, it really is a shameless marketing ploy by Neil Turbin (Deathriders) and Paul Di'Anno (Killers) by using songtitles of their former bands in their new ones. Its kind of sad that these guys can't do anything independent of their (brief) previous projects (over 20 years ago might I add!! And 25 for Paul!!!)
Still, throwing pride and self-respect aside, I guess if all these guys have is their past legacies, you can't really blame them for trying to capitalize on past glories. By milking Anthrax and Maiden for all their worth, at least they make headlines and get people to go to their shows. Had they not continued to market themselves via their former bands, they wouldn't be around today.

I fully DISAGREE, these people deserve to use what they did in the past, they were part of the bands that are now so famous and contributed greatly to their success.
Long live Neil Turbin AND Anthrax, I'll buy the album!
I don't know what people see in that loser. He's an awful singer.

Sir, I appreciate your comments. And if I were in Neil's or Paul's shoes right now, I would certainly play a few older tunes that I helped write. However, I would not base my whole band's existence on something that I did 20-25 years ago. If I were serious about my craft and truly believed in what I did, then I would distance myself from that band. Be original. Don't be an Antrhax or Maiden cover band. Otherwise, you're always going to be labeled as "that guy who was in Anthrax way back when", and nothing else.
Case in point, and I know this might start off a major shitstorm.... But look at Dave Mustaine. When Davey Boy got the old heave ho, he went out with a vengeance and started a new, fresh, and original band to rival that of his previous. He could have easily gone out and pulled the old, "well, I was in Metallica back in '82, come listen to me and my band The Motorbreaths cover old Metallica tunes", and milked that for the next 2 decades. No, he didn't. Granted, his use of "Mechanix" is debatable, and the fact that he was Metallica's former guitarist certainly gave him a decent level of publicity and notoriety in the beginning, but on the grand scale of things, Mustaine did his own thing. Quickly people figured out that Megadeth were a force to be reckoned with, and weren't merely an offshoot of Metallica. He didn't try to live off past glories. Turbin and Di'Anno can take a lesson from Dave.

Neil Turbin sounds alot like Glen Hughes these days. His first solo album sounds a bit like Deep Purple/Sabbath meets Thrash Metal.

uhh no..Neil had almost nothing to do with anthrax's success. How many people associate anything having to do with anthrax with Neil? How many these days even know who paul di'anno is. They should get away from their previous bands.

Neil Turbin--singer for Anthrax's best album (Fistful of Metal). Paul Dianno-singer for Iron Maidens tied for best album (Killers & Number of The Beast tie for Maiden's best album).
