SEPULTURA To Appear On FUSE TV's 'Metal Asylum Tonight - Jan. 6, 2006
Legendary Brazillian metal band SEPULTURA will appear on Fuse TV's "Metal Asylum" program tonight, Friday January 6 at 11:00 p.m. EST / 8:00 p.m. PST. The band invite "Metal Asylum" host Juliya and the crew down to their beautiful hometown of Sao Paulo, Brazil to have the very first listen to their brand new record, "Dante XXI". SEPULTURA also sit down and talk with Juliya about the record, their new DVD, "Live in Sao Paulo", and the influence that living and recording in their home country brings to their music. Also in the show will be the premiere of the live video from the DVD for the classic "Refuse/Resist", off the legendary "Chaos A.D." record.

For more information on "Metal Asylum", go to www.fuse.tv/metal.

As previously reported, SPV USA has confirmed a March 14 North American release date for SEPULTURA's 11th full-length album, entitled "Dante XXI". The CD was recorded at Trama Studios in São Paulo, Brazil, where the group had previously laid down the "Revolusongs" EP, which contained cover versions of songs from such acts as MASSIVE ATTACK to HELLHAMMER to JANE'S ADDICTION (and was included in the limited-edition digipack version of 2003's "Roorback"). A demo version of the first single, "Convicted in Life", will be featured in the March 2006 issue of Revolver magazine (on stands January 10) as part of their "Revolver Bootleg Series."

Working under the watchful eye of producer Andre Moraes (with whom they've previously worked on various Brazilian film soundtracks), SEPULTURA's follow-up to "Roorback" is based on the epic poetic masterpiece "The Divine Comedy" written by Italian author Dante Alighieri in the early 14th Century. The three main components of "The Divine Comedy" are Dante's descriptions of Hell, Purgatory and Paradise.

"Inner Self" is indeed a great song and my favourite Sepultura song.
Derrick's not Max but he's still good and I'm sure the new album's gonna be heavy, fast and a killer.

i think all 3 of the derrick albums are better than roots and all of the soulfly albums (minus the new one)...don't really understand why they get so much grief since max left...though, nothing either of the 2 bands does will probably ever compare to classic sep...
