MEGADETH Fans Invited To Redesign Band Mascot VIC RATTLEHEAD

After two decades of rocking, the heavy metal band MEGADETH's mascot Vic Rattlehead needs a facelift and the band has commissioned the world's largest online artistic community, deviantART, to redesign him. In addition to having the chance to redesign a mascot whose image has appeared on several MEGADETH albums as well as a myriad of band merchandise, the fans can also win the biggest prizes that have ever been offered for a deviantART contest. The prizes include three Dave Mustaine signature series electric guitars: First prize: LTD AXXION ( photo) Second prize: LTD DV8-R ( photo) Third prize: LTD DV200 ( photo) Designs can be submitted at this location. as for what the guitars retail for what does it matter $800 or a million fucking dollars. its FREE TO U when u when there for you're saving the money and getting a cool axe. jackasses. Anybody interested in my opinion, I think that it's gonna be:
1- Unfair. Only the better working artists already selling and living out of making art will win. Those who post weekly stunning shit.
2- Stupid. Why make a stupid contest if you really should PICK a style and hire an artist for his style, and pay him to do the job!
3- A waste of a lot of ppl's time and time is money.
4- I never really felt attached to this mascott: RISK didn't carry the Vic and the artwork was brilliant IMO. That Designer(s) did the job according to the theme and that is a LOT.
