H.I.M.: Half-Hour Concert Special To Air On MTV2

MTV2 will be premiering a 30-minute H.I.M. concert special, "H.I.M.: Live in Detroit", on Saturday, January 21 beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST. As previously reported, H.I.M.'s video for their new single, "Killing Loneliness", has been posted online at MTV Europe. The song comes off the Finnish goth metallers' latest album, "Dark Light", which has sold 237,000 copies in the United States since its late September release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The follow-up to 2003's "Love Metal" was recorded in Los Angeles and mixed at New York's Electric Lady studios with producer Tim Palmer ( DAVID BOWIE, OZZY OSBOURNE).

HIM is a fucking great band. I love deathmetal, but I also love good songwriting. HIM has their place in the landscape, deal with it. They deserve every bit of success they are having.

Im don't really like HIM but Im not gawna bash. Hey if they and Evanescence can get more kids into better goth than I am for them. Hopefully some of the people that get into them with discover Lacuna Coil, Type O Negative, etc..

mainstream mtv-metal can be ok sometimes (rammstein, system of a down) but this is fake! even the evanescence album (fallen) i enjoyed but this....these boys lack talent! and good riffs! and cool vocals!

im very straight and i think H.I.M. are 1 of the best bands to come out in the past 10 years. i checked them out because all you death metal kiddies were bashing them on here so i figured they must be good and guess what i love them !!! trying to get everything they have released. i have even turned some of my friends onto them that have never heard them before and they like H.I.M. too .
soo all of you death metal kiddies that love to bash H.I.M. im sure H.I.M. thanks you for helping them to sell more cds.

sometimes it is sad to see that alot of the peopple who take the time to post a comments here are musically retarded, you guys think you so fucking hard core, dont you? i'm a big metal fan and the main reason i like it is because metal music is hones, on my opinion anything that's hones is good, H.I.M. are not afraid of saying what they feel. and i think you guys should have the balls to at least recognize and respect that.
