H.I.M., SLIPKNOT, SEPULTURA Members Cover TYPE O NEGATIVE: Audio Available

H.I.M. fan site H-I-M666 Club has uploaded an audio recording of H.I.M. frontman Ville Valo's rendition of the TYPE O NEGATIVE classic "Black No. 1", recorded live during the Roadrunner Records 25th anniversary concert on December 15, 2005 at the Nokia Theatre in New York City. Listen to it at this location. The complete band lineup for the cover of TYPE O NEGATIVE's "Black No. 1" was as follows: Ville Valo (H.I.M.) - vocals Andreas Kisser (SEPULTURA) - lead guitar Dino Cazares (ex-FEAR FACTORY) - rhythm guitar Nadja Peulen (ex-COAL CHAMBER) - bass Joey Jordison (SLIPKNOT) - drums

The guy from Moonspell would be great for covering a Type O song, and guys like Turtzo Blvd. Metal Crew (East Coast) obviously dont get the joke. Go back and listen again man, Peter ghas one of the greatest
senses of humour ever.

Hey guys, Ville did a great job on the #1 song: my fave by Type o by the way, but you guys bash him cause he is lovely rather than macho, and every girl loves HIM... but that does not make them a crappy band, just not as thrashy as you would prefer... but give some credit where credit is due: By Ville ranting to everyone who would listen about how great TYPE O is, he is keeping interest alive and gaining new interest for TYPE O as well, around the world! I am old school and seen the best of em, and I still love HIM and adore Ville.

I am maddeingly crazyy about HIM cause they dont feel like they need to live up to some standard that the guys who live at home in mommmy basement and work at the local petrol station have "set" for them, they do what they want and have amassed a huge following doing it. Love em and love the the cover of black #1.
