STAIND To Perform At 2006 BUDWEISER SHOOTOUT At Daytona - Feb. 1, 2006

STAIND will perform following NASCAR's 28th annual Budweiser Shootout at Daytona, which TNT will broadcast live from Florida on February 11 at 8 p.m. EST. The band will play the songs "Right Here" and "Falling". Singer Aaron Lewis will also sing the national anthem prior to the race.

"I've always been a big fan of STAIND," said Dale Earnhardt Jr., winner of the 2002 Budweiser Shootout and 2004 Daytona 500. "They're a great band, and it's cool that they’re performing this year. They're one of Budweiser's True Music bands, and I got to race a special STAIND paint scheme (at Richmond, Va in 2003), so I feel like we've been kind of like teammates for a few years. Budweiser makes the entire weekend of the Shootout a big party, and STAIND makes it even more fun. I may have to sneak out there and see them myself after the race."
