RATT: VH1's 'Behind The Music' Special To Air In Early April - Feb. 3, 2006
According to a posting on former RATT frontman Stephen Pearcy's web site, VH1's upcoming "Behind the Music" special focusing on RATT will air the first week of April. More information will be made available soon.

As previously reported, Pearcy will be joined by bassist Chuck Wright (QUIET RIOT) and drummer Scott Coogan (BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION) for his upcoming "Metal In America" tour with BANG TANGO and PRETTY BOY FLOYD (beginning in early February). "We've rehearsed twice so far and what's coming at you is a heavier, meaner machine," Pearcy writes in a statement. "It kinda just happened — I needed a rhythm section for 'Metal In America'. What I got is as heavy as it gets. We're more than ready to Ratt n' Roll, maybe throw in some VICIOUS DELITE, ARCADE this time around. Let the games begin!"

Perris Records has set a March 7 European release date for the solo album from Stephen Pearcy, entitled "Fueler". This CD will contain four brand new studio bonus tracks not found on the U.S. version of the album: "Novocain", "Red Licorice", "Wide Open" and "Under World".

Pearcy will embark on a solo tour of Europe this spring to support the release.

Not a big Ratt fan but they havent done any behind the music specials in a while. I would love an Iggy and the Stooges one, maybe Faith no More, Slayer etc. Was there ever an Alice and Chains one also?

I knew these guys back in the late 80's...or should I say, got to hang around. What a bunch of fucks!!!
The only guy worth talking to was Robin's guitar tech, 'Catfish.' The band were jerks and every song was about as original as my turds!
The fact VH-1 is now scraping the bottom of the barrel for "Behind the Music" bands should tell you something about RATT!

Shit! That's one of the signs of the Apocalypse. Who wanted Pretty Boy Floyd to get back together? Who wanted them signed in the first place?

Ratt's Out of the Cellar was actually a pretty heavy album for its time (1984)... too bad they got more generic with each successive record (yes, I said RECORD, cuz I'm old). Warren DeMartini is still a bad ass guitarist though.
I didn't even know VH1 was still making "Behind the Music" episodes... is their any room left for them on the schedule in between such high quality programs as "Celebrity Fit Club," "Hogan Knows Best," and "Flavor of Love?"
