GENE SIMMONS Doesn't Deny Two Rumored KISS Gigs - Feb. 3, 2006
On Thursday night (Feb. 2), KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons attended the opening party for Hooters Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. As per usual these days, his "Gene Simmons' Family Jewels" A&E TV crew was following him around and filming everything. Kiss Kollector Online was informed that when asked by a fan who was there too if the two "rumored" KISS concerts for July of this year (an outdoor casino gig in Michigan plus a RockFest appearance in Wisconsin) are a go, Gene replied by saying "That's what they tell me." Other celebrities at the Hooters opening party in Vegas included Cindy Margolis, Carrot Top and Brooke Burke. Check out photos from Film Magic.

You're right about Rock Fest to a point. They do have bands such as you mentioned there, but I have also had the pleasure of seeing Judas Priest, Dio, Megadeth, Robert Plant, Scorpions, and (even though he's not metal) Tom Petty there so it isn't all bad. I usually go for at least one day if there is someone decent playing it. Having said that what they've announced so far is not going to have me forking over any cash this year. They're going to really need to have someone special for the remaining slots for me to even consider it. If there are a couple more good bands announced I'll go, I just hope KISScabs plays Sunday night so I can leave early. No Ace or Peter=no reason to bother.

Kiss ended in the '70's. All else is lies.
