MEGADETH: Former BLACK LABEL SOCIETY Bassist Joins The Fold

MEGADETH have announced the addition of former BLACK LABEL SOCIETY/ WHITE LION bassist James Lomenzo to the group's ranks. Lomenzo joins the band as the replacement for James MacDonough (ex- ICED EARTH), who was officially dismissed from the group on February 10, 2006. "I want to thank Jimmy for everything and wish him the best in his future endeavors," MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine said in a statement. "He is knowledgable and a good enough bassist to run his own outfit, and I look forward to what he does musically." Mustaine added, "It was recommeded I check out James Lomenzo by a friend, because I was uncertain which direction I wanted to take with the bassist prior to starting the next record, and everything just clicked." Lomenzo will perform with MEGADETH at their next scheduled live appearance, which is set for March 16 at the Desert Rock 2006 festival in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Should have just hired Dave Ellefson to be their bass player back in 2003 and then James MacDonough would have never even been in Megadeth to start with because Mustaine would have committed suicide.
Don't get me wrong, I don't even hate Dave Mustaine or Megadeth. I just like making fun of his sissy feuds he has with everyone and besides, what would a Megadeth post be without a mention of Metallica?

Dear Mr. Mustaine,
I challenge you to keep the same band members for 3 years. 2006-2009. Can you do it? I highly doubt it. You're obvioulsy a tough person to work for as your history has proven. From being released from Metallica to the countless members of Megadeth you have gone through over the years. Awesome music comes from not only talent from the muscians, but chemistry. Why do you think your best CD's came from a time when the band had a solid lineup? You should have pulled the plug in October and gone solo. What's the point of touring/recording under a band name if you're obviously a solo artist with 3 hired guns around you? I'm sure you love having the other guys in the band shake in their boots about being fired so they worship the ground you walk on. I hope Metallica's new one blows your new solo project with the name Megadeth attached to it out of the water. I'm fucking sick of you.
