KISS Frontman PAUL STANLEY: Solo Album Title Revealed

KISS frontman Paul Stanley has confirmed to ABC Radio's ePrep that his new solo album will be called "Live to Win". Stanley is still in the process of shopping the record to labels in various countries, explaining, "There's nothing worse, that I've seen in the past, [than] when you have a deal, let's say in America, and the company in Germany hates your album." To combat that, the singer is seeking out different labels internationally to assure they're all excited about the CD. He expects it to be in stores in about four months.
Stanley is planning a tour to support the CD, and says he'll be bringing out a bigger band than he's used at past solo gigs, "because there's a lot more going on on this album." He estimates he'll have about six people in his band. As for the musicians he used during the recording of "Live to Win" — a list which includes session drummer Victor Indrizzo, guitarist Corky James, former MARILYN MANSON and current ROB ZOMBIE guitarist John 5, former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick (who plays bass on a few songs) and noted string arranger David Campbell — Stanley says, "[It's] some friends of mine — it's not a 'who's who.' I didn't want to do one of those albums where you list people and it becomes some sort of a, trying to impress everybody with names. So it's a great album. Everybody loves it." Other songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Wake Up Screaming" and "Second to None".

This is the closest we'll get to a new KISS album anyway as Paul would keep writing & recording but Gene won't allow it whilst he's busy trying to be come a TV mogul.

He fuckin rules....his album will be a Masterpiece....no it wont be Metal, but who gives a shit....people like Shake Zula and China Joe are obviously not fans of this style of Music so why fuckwits like that even bother to post on this type of story just goes to show how unintelligant and ill informed they really are....Paul Stanley is one of the most influential Singers and Frontmen in the HISTORY of Rock Music...you fuckin clowns. Hes a fantastic Songwriter and this album will be GREAT.

he was fantastic...then the hangover started in the 80's, continued through the ninties, and is still rearing its ugly face.
much of their material after 1980 is sub par, especially cheesy tracks like "lick it up"
as a singer, yeah he can hit notes, as a write-he WROTE good notes. but those days are long gone.
i just hope his hip is better

Does the world really need another cd fron the you or Gennie? I don't. Why not try to get back to the music that Kiss use to do? and paul's gay..fine..whatever,i didnt stop listening to priest cause robs gay,its irrelevant,who cares unless you like him,so many always bring it up.this is great news,im sure it will be worth the wait.paul seems to be a bit more serious when it comes to his music than gene,and by the way the werent all genes songs necesarally on revenge but vinnie's.im sure if anyone who bash's kiss about making the cash,had the same opprotunity would jump at it,i dont know a lot of people who dont like money,it you deserve it why not,they earned it.maybe having a plantinum cd or two dosent mean your great,i agree its not hard nowadays,but fuckin gold and plantinum albums from the 70's,when it was very hard,and to span over 30 years THAT MAKES KISS GREAT !!not many can say that they have more gold than most.long live kiss,and long live paul.

I hope Paul's solo is as good as his first. I hope it's not filled with stupid insipid lyrics like the title leads me to believe. Too many artists, make it, get old and complacent.
