AC/DC-Inspired Spanish Movie Leads To A Sequel - Feb. 22, 2006

According to a posting on the AC/DC fan site Crabsody In Blue, a Spanish production company has begin filming the sequel to the "Isi-Disi" movie (the Spanglish pronunciation of "AC/DC"), a comedy about the amorous foils of two university-aged brothers named AC and DC by their rocker dad. Production on the sequel, dubbed "Isi/Disi Alto Voltage", began on February 20.

The original film, entitled "Isi/Disi - Amor a lo bestia", was directed by Chema de la Peña and came out in 2004. More information is available at this location.

	Having a movie described as a Spanish carbon copy of "Wayne's World" and "Dude, Where's My Car?" doesn't sound too encouraging but being an AC/DC fan who's seen and appreciated the aforementioned movies for what they were and having seen quite a few Spanish movies that sucked harder than what this movie has to offer in terms of a script sounds like something I might watch at least 6 times. Kinda like "Spice World".
