SEPULTURA Begin Rehearsing With ROY MAYORGA: Photos Posted Online

SEPULTURA began rehearsing for their upcoming European tour last week with former SOULFLY drummer Roy Mayorga standing in for founding member Igor Cavalera, who is taking a break from the group's touring activities to spend time with his second wife and their new son (who was born in January). Check out pictures from the rehearsal sessions at this location. Mayorga, who played with Igor's brother Max for several years in the late '90s and again in 2001-2003, has been enlisted to do the European trek, with the possibility that he will stick around for further touring activities beyond the spring. SEPULTURA's European tour with IN FLAMES will not be the first time that the band have performed without Igor Cavalera. Back in April 2005, SEPULTURA completed a short tour of Mexico with the help of roadie Guilherme Martin (ex- VIPER, TOYSHOP) after Cavalera was unable to make the dates. SEPULTURA's new album, "Dante XXI", is scheduled for release in North America on March 14 via SPV.

Get aids you prick!!! I'm not Maidens greatest fan granted, but lets look at the facts possibly one of the best bands live EVER and they have contributed so much to the metal scene.
As as for Sepultura, good for them that they keep going and Dante does sound promising but it'll never by arise....... shame!!

hey you fucking cocklord, this is a SEPULTURA thread. If you want to trash a band, do it by yourself in a fucking corner while you beat your microscopic cock to your cavelera god.
I know its hard for a true pure blood metal band to try and compete with anything ASSoulfly has ever done. Just look at Primitive, what a masterpeice that was. Who can forget epic lyrics like "BOOM WHATCHU GOT WATCHU WATCHU GOT BOOOOMMMM!!!" breath-taking.
Lets get one thing straight, DANTE XXI is heavy. Dante XXI is evil. annd, wait for it, Dante XXI is something that any soulfly album will never be, INTELLIGENT. They based the fucking album off of the DIVINE COMEDY! A classic book. A BOOK! They all read the book! every member of the band. How about that Max! Can you read? I'd be surpised.
That being said, yes, Dark Ages was a pretty good album. But theres no bones about it, Dante XXI KILLS the soulfly catalog dead.

Sepultura have never fallen down or died, so they don't have to arise. But whatever you think. DANTE XXI SLAYS! It's an awesome album by an awesome band that doesn't produce boring riffs with boring vocals, with childish lyrics (dark ages).
