AVENGED SEVENFOLD, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE To Support GUNS N' ROSES In Paris

AVENGED SEVENFOLD and BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE have been confirmed as the support acts for GUNS N' ROSES on June 20 at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris, France. GUNS N' ROSES' schedule is shaping up as follows:

Jun. 3-6 - Nürburgring, GER @ Rock am Ring

Jun. 15 - Warsaw, POL @ Legia Stadium
Jun. 17 - Pannonia Fields, AUT @ Nova Rock

Jun. 24 - Dessel, BEL @ Graspop Metal Meeting
Jun. 26 - Stockholm, SWE @ Globen

GUNS N' ROSES' "Greatest Hits" collection, which was originally issued in March of 2004, sold just under 17,000 copies in the United States last week (week ending March 5), bringing the total number of copies sold since its release to 2.81 million, according to Nielsen SoundScan. GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose, along with ex-members Slash and Duff McKagan, tried to block the release of "Greatest Hits" with a lawsuit, claiming that the record label had assembled the CD without their input. The band's label, Geffen Records, insisted that it was forced to put out a greatest hits album since Axl Rose had failed to deliver the long-delayed new GUNS album, "Chinese Democracy".
In a rare interview conducted by Rolling Stone magazine on Jan. 13, GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose promised fans that the band will be back in 2006 with the "Chinese Democracy" album.
"People will hear music this year," Rose said. "'Chinese Democracy' is a very complex record. I am trying to do something different. Some of the arrangements are kind of like QUEEN." He also added he is working on 32 songs for the album and 26 are finished out of which 13 will feature on the final album. Some songs include "Better", "There was a Time" and "The Blues".

there one of the few bands out today whos guitarists actually can play. I wont buy that fucking farce of an album trying to pass itself off as GnR. People who worship axl I imagine will be joining cults pretty soon. they were so desperately looking for a leader in the late 80's and found one. There are plenty of guitarists out there that can play today. Just because you dont see them on TRL doesnt mean they dont exist.

because as long as the spelling and grammar are correct all the rest is just an opinion. The problem with you assonfire is you are a hater. If someone works hard for 5 years and then ends up on TRL and with a big ole recording contract what are they supposed to do. A7X has been around a little while. You tell me one band in thier early and mid 20'sthat plays double leads as well as A7X.

are an unknown quantity. Nobody really knows what it's going to be like this summer when Axl comes out again, so speculation is just that.
I'm looking forward to seeing them, it could be terrible, it could be great, but at least whatever happens it'll be exciting.
Also, Axl isn't a great vocalist in the sense that his voice often breaks up live, it isn't particularly 'strong', but it does contain the quintessential element of a rock and roll singer, it's unique. Like it or not you can tell straight away that it is Axl when he sings, a lot of technically better vocalists can not make this claim.
Also, anybody who can't appreciate Slash's playing at it's best should just buy a computer package that can play scales at super speeds, because that is all most guitarists on the metal scene are. He can't play a million miles an hour, but he can express himself through his instrument, which makes him a true musician.

How anyone can say LOG sucks and is this and that...and then can say that 20 bands that are just like BTBAM are better. I know you didnt say that but I am guessing you might. Just maybe. They dont showcase their playing as well as A7X. Just my opinion. I know there are other guitarists as good but you kind of need a total package as a band for recognition.

this guy has finally pissed me off....he takes all the credit for the guns and roses namesake.....he worships at the temple of his own ego...remember axl it was slash that was laying down those heavy fuckin riffs.....and as i remeber izzy stradlin has about as much song writing credential as you.....to bash the ones who help you achieve whatever stardom you have left....is a shame, to think of the things you could have achieved if you would have gotten off your high-horse...you better hope that chinese democracy sells millions...and in this time and age that is a thing of the past....good luck!!!!hahahahhaa.....if axl makes it to all these gigs he is lining up,and can play a good set....this will be a miracle.....he is really rolling the dice with this record.....just remember you can duplicate the sound but not the members....and alot of guns and roses fans will remember.......

for singing...cookie monster bulshit. I guess therein lies the difference of opinion. I think btbam sucks although their Fiddle players are talented. I think A7X guitar playing is showcased much better and sounds cleaner. The 2 guitarists work better together. As far as what who looks like I listen to music with my ears. If a band kicks ass and wears high waters and horned rim glasses like weezer thats up to them. I prefer the way I dress to most losers.

Damn dude. There are some people on here who don't know what the fuck they are talking about.... Sure A7X vocals suck now... But the guitar playing is good, and the drummer is great. I hate it when people say bands like A7X, and BFMV suck when they probably listen to main stream shit like slipknot, or kill switch. So, anyways A7X is not that bad, and people need to listen to some real bands like Arch Enemy, or Shadows Fall.
