SEPULTURA Perform With ROY MAYORGA On Brazilian TV: Video Available

SEPULTURA made their "live" debut with drummer Roy Mayorga on Saturday, March 11 on the Brazilian TV show "Altas Horas". Download video clips of the band's appearance on the program: "Breed Apart" ( video) "Territory" ( video) "Convicted in Life" ( video) Mayorga is standing in for founding member Igor Cavalera, who is taking a break from the group's touring activities to spend time with his second wife and their new son (who was born in January). Mayorga, who played with Igor's brother Max for several years in the late '90s and again in 2001-2003, has been enlisted for SEPULTURA's European tour with IN FLAMES (which kicked off March 12 in Oslo, Norway), with the possibility that he will stick around for further touring activities beyond the spring. SEPULTURA's current European tour is not the first time that the band have performed without Igor Cavalera. Back in April 2005, SEPULTURA completed a short tour of Mexico with the help of roadie Guilherme Martin (ex- VIPER, TOYSHOP) after Cavalera was unable to make the dates. SEPULTURA's new album, "Dante XXI", is scheduled for release in North America on March 14 via SPV.

dante is somewhat a return to form though, quality throughout, dark ages is good too. cant wait to see the next few releases. its turning into a full on megadeth metallica war!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its not very intuitive on how to dl the video. you have to 1. request the vid. 2. allow it to become available. and 3 (and this is the part i kept screwing up on, and i even dled some bullshit program before i realized it) you have to enter a PASSCODE to be allowed to dl the vid.

I've watched that show quite a bit in the past. It's a talk show hosted by Serginho Groissmann. It's pretty cool, actually. It's like a TRL with brains. They bring in a lot of socially-relevant guests, ranging from politicians to professors, and everyone in-between. And, they have bands too. I've seen Ratos de Porão on Serginho's old show.

He's just taking a break. Mayorga is filling in for the European tour and the European tour ONLY. Dante XXI really kills, it's thrashy, fast brutal and catchy. Dark Ages is also a good album. Btw those videos with Roy fucking KILL, he's doing a great job. I downloaded them without any problems whatsoever, sure it takes a little time, but they're well worth it.
OH OH OH SEPULTURA! UN SENTIMIENTO!!!!!
PS: Paulo Jr. is also an original member, he played on Bestial Devastation and on Morbid Visions too.

Did anybody mention Napalm Death???
Oh come on, sepultura can't get any closer to NAPALM. Besides, From Enslavement To Obliteration, which includes Shane Embury in the line up, is a more solid record than the venerated scum and the band got stronger with the next albums, so don't come here to tell us sepulbullshit.
