ALICE COOPER Records Radio Spot With Golf Star ANNIKA SORENSTAM

According to a posting at SickthingsUK, Alice Cooper has recorded a new radio spot with Swedish golf star Annika Sorenstam. The advert has the couple "comparing notes on equipment, tours, fans and talents. The spot contrasting a rock tour and the LPGA Tour will first be used to promote the Kraft Nabisco Championship, which will be held March 30-April 2 in Rancho Mirage, California."

has a global following, yearly is touring
europe at the cool fests they have.
He kills at golf. He owns restaurants and
nightclubs. He has been credited as a huge
influence from everyone from Randy Rhoads
to Sex Pistols, Jim Morrison, and John Lennon.
He holds many charity golf tournaments
raising big money for people who would
have a hard time without his help.
He is giving back a lot from the success he
has created.

alice didnt influence lennon, and he didnt influence jim morrison either. the only thing he did with ole jimbo was drink, drink, drink, and drink. in fact, i think those 2 didnt start hanging around till sometime in early-mid 1970...all the doors albums were prettty much in the can-i think la woman was still being mixed. i dont here any welcome to my nightmare garbage on la woman. you, my friend, are just wrong

morrison died in 71. alice wrote desperado for the next
record he was to put out. john lennon, in his "lost weekend"
days, was a regular drinker with alice in l.a. His favorite
song was "elected".
anyone with any clue about randy's life knows how he
idolized alice. Johnny and the pistols did alice songs
before they wrote their own.
I used to live in Phoenix as well, played Rockers, Buddyz,
Mason Jar, Haunted, DJ'd Hi-Liter and Zebra club..
I think only Hi-liter is left out of all (late 80s/early 90s)
As a phoenician, you should be ashamed to slame alice.
If you've read any Ted Nugent or Henry Rollins posts,
you would see what I think of the right wing. I can't
stand the record 9 trillion deficit and lives/$ running

Alice is a legend forever, a friend of a friend of mine,
Karla LaVey, and was a friend of Anton LaVey as well.
He is sober 20 years, helping other musicians also get that
way... He does a lot of good, has been a giant in the
music industry.

time... 71. alice went on to put out four records in the
middle.. Killer, School's out, billion $ babies, muscle of
love... before welcome to my nightmare came out.

someone who has accomplished amazing things.

you are no fan of randy if you didn't know his major influence:
1971 - Randy and his friend Kelly Garni (a later bandmate in Quiet Riot) go to see Alice Cooper perform. Glenn Buxton (Cooper’s guitarist), with his unorthodox guitar sounds, becomes a strong influence on Rhoads. Meanwhile, Randy plays in other bands such as Mildred Pierce and the Katzenjammer Kids.
you haven't done shit research on Randy Rhoads 101... clueless.
Alice's influence as a groundbreaking pioneer, a humanitarian,
not to mention a great sense of humor, makes him the coolest
rock star that ever lived. The fact you don't appreciate him
just makes him all the more relevant.
Ask Wexler, Keeler, Lynch and Mustaine, as a matter of
fact any self-respecting musician, and they'll tell agree,
ALICE IS THE GREATEST EVER!!!

couldn't have said it better myself. Thanks for saving me some type time. as for blemish.....yeah he just proved how much he knows about rhoads. but he thinks he knows so much about everyone. i decided to check some posts of different bands one day and he was on a bunch of them, just being his normal nasty whiney ass basher. his posts are becoming nothing but a waste of space.
and yeah.....i'd put alice up against anyone at this point. THANK GOD he's still around.

I have nothing to be bitter about ..I have an awesome job my own house new car tons of guitars...etc etc..Im a happy kid ..Ive lived more in my 30 years then most do in a lifetime..Perhaps Rhoads dug some of teh theatrical sides of Alice or his guitar playing...But to even mention names like Rhoads and Lynch let alone LENNON in teh same sentence as alice??? Thats like mentioning Brittny Spears and teh beatles in teh same sentence.
