AC/DC: BON SCOTT Memorabilia Auction Photos Posted Online - Mar. 17, 2006

According to a posting on the AC/DC fan site Highway to Hell, the Leonard Joel Australian auction house has updated its web site with information and photos of the Bon Scott memorabilia to be auctioned off by Bon's former wife Irene Thornton, who was married to the late AC/DC singer in 1972, separated in 1974, and divorced in 1978 (see previous stories: Story#1, Story#2, Story#3). The auction includes personal letters to Irene from Bon, photos, an original Australian "High Voltage" test pressing vinyl LP and Bon's personal shaving mirror.

Bon carried AC/DC to superstardom by 1979, but tragically was found dead after a night of heavy drinking on February 19, 1980. He was 33 years old.
