THE CLASSIC STRUGGLE Drummer Hospitalized Following Accident; Band Cancel EXODUS Tour
- Mar. 20, 2006
Drummer Tyler Solnosky of the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina-based metal/thrash/hardcore act THE CLASSIC STRUGGLE was reportedly involved in an accident while on tour earlier in the month and is currently recovering from his injuries at a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. There is no further information available on his condition at this time.
As a result of Solnosky's hospitalization, THE CLASSIC STRUGGLE have been forced to cancel their previously announced opening slot on the EXODUS U.S. tour. Replacing them on the bill are SUBZERO, who will be playing all dates between April 15 and May 19, according to a statement from EXODUS' booking agent. Also appearing on the tour are FULL BLOWN CHAOS.
THE CLASSIC STRUGGLE's debut album, "Feel Like Hell", was released last August via Ironclad Recordings (the label formed by UNEARTH frontman Trevor Phipps).

that really sucks....he was The Classic Struggle's best member, really good drummer, hope he comes out of that okay. Guess I won't be seeing them on April 30th at B.B. King's no more.

Before they were called Type-O-Negative they were briefly called Sub Zero then Repulsion (or vice versa? ) but I don't think they ever recorded under those names. Btw Sub-Zero has been around since the early 90's.
