SEPULTURA Live In London: Video Clips Available

14 video clips of SEPULTURA performing at the Forum in London, England on Wednesday, March 22 have been posted online at YouTube.com [NOTE: the files have since been removed]. SEPULTURA are currently on the road in Europe as direct support to Sweden's IN FLAMES. Filling in on drums during the tour is Roy Mayorga, who is standing in for founding member Igor Cavalera. Igor is taking a break from the group's touring activities to spend time with his second wife and their new son (who was born in January). Mayorga, who played with Igor's brother Max for several years in the late '90s and again in 2001-2003, has been enlisted for SEPULTURA's European tour with IN FLAMES (which kicked off March 12 in Oslo, Norway), with the possibility that he will stick around for further touring activities beyond the spring. SEPULTURA's current European tour is not the first time that the band have performed without Igor Cavalera. Back in April 2005, SEPULTURA completed a short tour of Mexico with the help of roadie Guilherme Martin (ex- VIPER, TOYSHOP) after Cavalera was unable to make the dates.

How about they don't reunite because they are better without max. Max writes shit lyrics these days and his voice is close to being shot, grow up and move with the times.

Igor is just spending some time with his newborn child and his family. He will be back again. I like Max and all, but hes is not doing any good with Soulfly anymore. Just my humble opinion anyway.

they sound AWESOME on all those clips. I am blown away. The recording quality on Live at Sao Paulo was kinda shitty, but I cant wait for them to hit the US so I can see them live!

Be careful what you wish for. Would you really want Max back? Look what's been happening with Anthrax since they've had Joey Belladonna and Dan Spitz back. Before it happened, people like you were screaming "Bring Back Joey!", but when it happened, it turned to "Bring Back John!". I guess there's no pleasing some people.
Dante XXI is the best record I've heard so far this year, and if a few elitist assholes aren't going to give it the time of day because of the lineup... who cares? I, among many people, am totally stoked with it, the guys in the band should be proud of themselves for making such a killer record, and all the fair-weather Max loyalists who still jerk off with their bullet belts on can go fuck themselves. End rant.

Derrick is a better and more flexible vocalist than Max in every possible way. I prefer Max era Sepultura simply because of the songwriting but I won't accept any saying that Derrick is a shit vocalist. Its like comparing James Hetfield to Joey Belladonna.

I want to see the recordings from Manchester! All of them! Including the footage before the concert when Derrick signed my copy of Dante XXI. Oh, and fuck hater… Derrick does a fuck excellent job for Sepultura… Even with out Igor, they’re still a better live band.
