After the festival season PLEEEEASE get your asses in the studio and do a new album... it's been seven LONG years already ... Raven rules!! Been one of my favorite bands for longer than half the kids who post on this board have been alive!!!

Stole Raven's thunder. James and the boys wowed the crowds, made the headlines and became metal media darlings while Raven missed the attention they deserved. Although Raven was kind of goofy - they still rocked. Nice to see them doing something these days.

Is still alive (last I checked) but hasn't played with Raven since '87 or so. The current drummer (Joe Hasselvander, also of Pentagram, Cathedral and many other bands), regrettably, does not wear the goalie helmet

Saw them live one time in Detroit, Anthrax was the back up band. One of my all time favorite shows!! John Gallager (sp) was running all around the theater with his wireless base and microphone!! This was back in 1983. Raven kicked fucking ass!! love to seee them again!!!!!!! All for one!!!!!

TALKED W/ ME ON THE PHONE FOR 1/2 HOUR....he did an interview in METAL-CORE zine w/ his home address..i wrote , he wrote back w/ his #, sent me demos of their newest cd....very cool...every song has something to offer...& those bass solos within the songs rule....all the newest cds are just as good as the old classics.....

ACTUALLY, QUITE TO THE CONTARY, WACKO HAS ACTUALLY BEEN WORKING AS BRANFORD MARSALIS' (JAZZ SAXOPHONE) ENGINEER BOTH IN THE STUDIO AND ON THE ROAD SINCE LEAVING RAVEN. HE ALSO APPEARS ON SEVERAL OF HIS RECORDINGS IN SOME CAPACITY PLAYING PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS.
