FANDANGO: Early JOE LYNN TURNER Recordings Available On CD For First Time - Mar. 30, 2006
FANDANGO, the late '70s ecelctic pop-rock band featuring vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (who would later front RAINBOW and DEEP PURPLE), have had their four albums released on CD for the first time via the Wounded Bird label (the same company that brought us the re-release of Joe Lynn Turner's "Rescue You" in 2004). The four albums that were previously only available on vinyl via RCA Records (not counting the Japanese import CD compilation, "Best of Fandango") are as follows: "Fandango" (1977), "Last Kiss" (1978), "One Night Stand" (1979) and "Cadillac" (1980).

If you like JLT with Rainbow check out all 3 Mother's Army releases. the band was awesome, it included JLT on vocals, Brad Gillis on guitar, Bob Daisley on bass, and Carmine Appice drums. Also good were the hughes/turner project, both CD's were incredible.

I already have the albums from the OTHER Fandango, the one started by Nic Simper (ex-Deep Purple) but I've always wanted these too. They should be good.

I have my (negative) opinions about Jolene.

I won't go into them here.
